all kinds of cames and tricks to get u to buy ,after buying delebretly delayed registering the car for 45 days because of the poor rating i gave them when i was calledto to evaluate this dealer by ford buying delebretly delayed registering the car for 45 days because of the poor rating i gave them when i was calledto to evaluate this dealer by ford untill i filed acomplain to MVD in albany, they did register it in one day,first time idrove the car it had very bad brakes iwent back there the next day( 45 milesaway ),aday later smoke was coming out from under the hood ,stoped checked the flueds in the car there was no transmittion flued idrove to the nearest dealer and had it fixed there ,it was 2009 mks lincoln with 30,000 miles on it ford certified 200 points of inspection as they said if they did not even check a simple transmition flued u think they cheked other big things ,every thing isaid is documented.i figured i share this terrible experince with the public to help in making a decigion More

I learned the price of the Ford Edge I wanted and all the available options. I even studied and learned how to use a 4 square sheet. I studied the tricks and xxxxxxthat one could expect to encounter at a car dealership. The way they tug when they shake your hand. The way they walk in front of you knowing you'll follow. The way they speak to each other in front of the customer. I learned the whole game. I was armed and ready for battle...battle with the evil car salesman. I drove there in a 2009 Lexus RX350. Yes, I was entertaining the thought of giving up my Luxury Lexus for a ....egads....FORD... Then...I came to Hassett Ford on Sunrise Hwy in Wantagh. My wife and I started walking around the lot trying not to look like we didn’t know what we wanted. A gentleman walked up to us and said "You folks look like you have questions". Immediately my defenses went up thinking the battle begins here. Well, it never happened. What I got was a professional, stress-free, courteous experience. Tim Coppola is fantastic. He's helpful and honest. There was no haggling over price and options, because there was no need for it. The price I was quoted by Tim was already nearly identical to the price I researched for a 2012 Ford Edge. The next step was the Finance guy. I've been leasing cars for 12 yrs and this has always been the thorn in the side. I've never had a pleasant experience with a finance guy at Lexus. You spend an hour working out price and payments with the salesperson then the finance guy rips it to shreds because you don't have a 730 score. Dan from Hassett is the exact opposite of every one I've met. He worked tirelessly on our financing to get us the best rates and payments. So, they did it. They got me, a diehard Lexus driver into a Ford Edge. They made the decision easy. I've had the car a week now as of this writing and there is nothing missing that I had in the Lexus. I did side by side comparisons with both vehicles at my house. The Ford Edge is more car for less money than the Lexus RX. The ride is equally comfortable, the interior is equally luxurious. The exterior is equally stylish. The Microsoft Sync with My Ford Touch blows away the computer in the Lexus. The rear view camera and sensor system is also superior to the Lexus. This car outperforms in every way. So, you couple a fantastic vehicle with a fantastic dealer and you get a fantastic rating. You should know that I'm not someone who typically bothers to take anytime on writing these. But this experience was unique and these guys certainly warrant the accolades. I'm sure I won't be the last to point this out. More

In my search for a new lease, I met with quite a few dealers over a period of a few months. I was frankly getting frustrated with "salsey" dealers, empty promises and people trying to sell me something dealers over a period of a few months. I was frankly getting frustrated with "salsey" dealers, empty promises and people trying to sell me something I didnt want. I, in fact, put my search on hold for a few weeks because I couldn't take the stress! Then I called Hassett Ford and spoke with a gentleman named Scott Rosenfeld. I told Scott exactly what car I wanted, what features I wanted, and how much I wanted to spend. He did not try to sell me anything other than exactly that, he found me exactly what I wanted and came within $30 of my monthly budget. He did not try to haggle me, sell me a vehicle I didnt want or promise me anything he couldnt deliver. We handled our entire transaction over the phone, and we never met until the day I picked up my beautiful, metallic cinnamon 2012 Ford Edge! I LOVE the car, I respect Scott Rosenfeld and Hassett Ford, and I would recommend them to anyone and will absolutely work with Scott in 3 years when my lease is up again! More
Scott was great during the whole buying process. My wife and I usually hate going to the dealership and sitting there all day and haggling and all the liars and cheaters at dealerships. Scott was different, he was straight up about everything. He gave us the best price possible and beat every other Ford dealership in all of Long Island! We ended up buying 2 new cars. I purchased a 2010 Ford mustang from Millenium Toyota and I was very unsatisfied with the customer service and the vehicle they sold me. I was thinking whether or not to trade my mustang in for the newer mod I was very unsatisfied with the customer service and the vehicle they sold me. I was thinking whether or not to trade my mustang in for the newer model but I was very skeptical. My credit was not the best and I knew that getting me in a new car would be almost impossible. One visit to Phil at Hasset ford really changed my whole thought process about whether or not it was possible. Phil and Dan put hours upon hours dealing with ford credit in order to make my purchase a possibility. They didn't just get me approved, they put me exactly where I needed to be payment wise and they didn't stop working my case until I got the exact car I wanted at the lowest price in long island. I will never deal with another dealership because my "marriage" with hasset ford is about as strong as my love for American cars. I strongly recommend anyone who is looking for a ford, Lincoln, mercury or Subaru to go to hasset first. Don't waiste your time with any other dealership. Hasset ford receives 1000 out of 10 in my book. Everyone there was extremely professional and extremely knowledgable about every car in stock. I hope to bring as many people as I can to enjoy the experience that I enjoyed while dealing with Phil and Dan at Hasset ford of wantaugh. My next 20 mustangs will all come from hasset. Love them !!!
