Joe throughly inspected the tire and found a leak at the valve. My truck was ready to go before I could finish my complimentary popcorn. 60,000 Checkup Dana was awesome! Had oil changed and tire rotation. I have the original tires from purchase date and I expected to have to replace them, but still Dana was awesome! Had oil changed and tire rotation. I have the original tires from purchase date and I expected to have to replace them, but still in good shape so Dana recommended waiting until just before winter to replace and for a better deal. I will call her in October to arrange for new tires. More

Transmission Our 2017 Toyota Highlander’s transmission went out the day after receiving a notice from Toyota that it could be a problem. The notice was not a recal Our 2017 Toyota Highlander’s transmission went out the day after receiving a notice from Toyota that it could be a problem. The notice was not a recall and the service manager said this was because it was not a safety issue. Our transmission failed while going 65 mph on a highway and we could barely accelerate to get off the road. It was like we were in neutral. How is this not a safety issue? It was extremely dangerous. We had to call for a flatbed tow truck on a Sunday night to take it to the dealership. We left keys and a note in the night box. The next day the service department was very SLOW in getting back to us. We left many messages and after 4 hours and needing to get angry- I got through to them that I needed a loaner vehicle. After I finally talked to someone in charge I got a loaner Highlander. When picking up our vehicle, 5 days later, the service counter guy kept us waiting 15 minutes while he talked to someone on the phone- no apologies, no acknowledgement. Very rude. More

When I test the lug nut torque, I find them so tight that a typical 1/2” breaker bar will not loosen them. They are definatly overtorqued. Whoever is rotating tires needs to learn proper torque. Should I need to change a tire on the road I absolutelywould not be able to do it. This torque of the lug nuts is typically how I find them after a visit for regular 5000 mile visits. More
