On December 21, 2024 had all four tires replaced with Pirelli Scorpion VE and an alignment on my BMW X5 xdrive 35i. I put the new tires to the test during a snowstorm on January 5, 2024, while driving through the mountains of West Virginia on my way back to Charlotte. What was expected to be a 3-hour drive turned into a 5-hour journey due to snow and ice. Along the way, I saw cars in ditches and a 2 wrecked 18-wheeler one on its side. Despite these challenging conditions, the performance of the X5 with the new tires was outstanding—10 out of 10. A big thank you to the person who performed my alignment—you did a five-star job! Having bought my fare share of luxury vehicles, this was my first BMW. As always, I asked others for a referral and was pointed in the direction of Isaiah Hicklin @ Hendrick BMW Northlake. The car buyin my first BMW. As always, I asked others for a referral and was pointed in the direction of Isaiah Hicklin @ Hendrick BMW Northlake. The car buying process is a major ordeal for me which means the person I am working with has to go through Phase 1 - an “interview” of sorts. I ask about longevity at dealer, why they work there, where they are from, what brought them to Charlotte (if from another city), and other detailed questions based on how they reply. From there, we begin the process of determining which car I want, etc. Isaiah was very patient and was very candid about the various cars discussed. For those not familar with BMW, sometimes the selections can be overwhelming. Isaiah helped us through that process. We probably spent 2-3 hours with him on the first day. I made sure he new that we were looking at alternatives as well (Lexus, Mercedes, Genisis) and needed time to compare and research what we had learned about the various BMW SUV models. He provided us with an initial build # and suggested we look at this on our own and make any changes necessary. From there, we would start pricing options and come up with a plan & price. It was probably a 3-4 weeks later before we went back to the dealership. I thought he would have been a little put out because it took us so long to come back but he was as pleasant and understanding as ever. We were probably there another 3 hours or so on finalizing the options we wanted and seeing what was available or should we order one from the plant. We wound up selecting one that had arrived the day before and could not be happier - X5 40XI. We love the car and extremely happy with how Isaiah worked with us. In total, we probably took up 6-8 hours or his time. His patience and kindness was beyond expectations. He is a valuable asset to the dealership and the Hendrick family. Thanks Isaiah!!! More
