I have never experienced such poor communication from any dealership. During a recent service visit, I was told that the underbody shield on my Porsche Macan needed to be replaced at a cost of nearly $500 dealership. During a recent service visit, I was told that the underbody shield on my Porsche Macan needed to be replaced at a cost of nearly $500. This came as a surprise because the vehicle had previously undergone accident repairs through Hennessy Porsche that were covered by insurance. I never noticed the missing shield because, like most people, I don’t crawl under my car looking for missing parts. On May 8, I asked a simple question: Why wasn’t the underbody shield replaced during the original insurance repair? No response. I followed up again. No response. I continued following up for four weeks. Still no response. Only after I escalated the issue to the service manager did my advisor, Joel Hughes, finally reply. He apologized for not following up and told me they were working with the insurance company. He promised he would provide an update the following week “one way or another.” That update never came. After another week passed, I contacted BOTH service managers, Steve Richardson and Daniel Joffee. Again, no response. At this point, the underbody shield is no longer the issue. The issue is that Hennessy Porsche North Atlanta cannot return emails, keep promises, or provide basic customer service. If this is the level of communication customers can expect from a Porsche dealership, then Porsche should be embarrassed. More
