It was time for me to get a new vehicle, as the one I was driving was 11 yrs old and very troublesome. (a Ford). Well I had 4 visits to Herb Chambers Honda, each time working with Bruce Stein. I have never leased before but Bruce helpfully explain the benefits of doing so. Finally on the 4th visit I was ready to comit and quickly reached an agreement with Bruce on a lease that I thought was a great deal. In all my many years of buying cars, Bruce is the only salesman I've ever met who came across has honest and reliable. Hopefully the new car (Accord) is as great as Bruce. Even though this dealership is not as close as several other Honda dealers, I am glad I made the trip and will definitely be back with my wife when she is ready for a new car. More

I was upfront about not wanting to haggle back and forth and they immediately came up with a proposal within the ranges I told them I was comfortable. I am pregnant and requested minimal follow ups via phon and they immediately came up with a proposal within the ranges I told them I was comfortable. Although at this time I have decided to wait until in a better financial situation about a year after the baby comes, it was nice to be listened to and not pressured and I would recommend and return to this dealer and these two employees. Our overall experience with Matt Collard was 100% positive. This was our first visit to Honda and we couldn't be more pleased. We were initially very indecisive about models and even if we were ready to purchase a new vehicle. Matt 's professionalism was apparent immediately. His knowledge of Hondas was superior. He had quick, informative answers to our many inqueries. We are not tech savvy and he was patient and respectful answering our many questions until we had a grasp on the great gadgets on the new models. We left the first day without purchasing a car. We did some comparative shopping at another dealership and that experience confirmed that we would return to Herb Chambers to purchase from Matt. We were upfront about checking out another dealership and he was not put off at all. We liked a color he didn't have in stock. Matt was confident he could have one for us the next day and he did. We were able to negotiate a very good price and his professionalism never wavered during the process. We needed to pick up our new car later in the evening and this was not a problem. Matt came in on his day off to walk us through the details of our new purchase. The whole process was seamless. We highly recommend Matt and would definitely purchase another vehicle from him when the time comes. More

He did not merely tell us that the CR V we wanted was difficult to locate and end it there. He stayed in touch with us and when the blue CR V came in he contacted us immediately. He made the purchase of our CR V as easy as possible and a very pleasant experience. I will recommend him to any of our friends and family with the highest possible rating. More
Matt went out of his way to help me find the car I needed. He searched inventory from across the many Herb Chambers dealerships, then when we found a car - he personally drove the a used car up from B needed. And when I couldn't get out to the dealership (because my other car had been stolen), he even came and picked me up at my house, delivered paperwork for me to sign, and brought the car to me at work. The no-haggle pricing is great. Also, the price I got on my 2009 suburu was MUCH better than what the Suburu dealerships were offering. I really appreciate Matt's help and recommend him as a thoughtful, money-smart, and caring car-seller. Thanks Matt! More
A close friend recommended Herb Chambers to my wife and I a while ago. We went in and Brian Delsesto sat down with us to figure out what we wanted. We test drove a few cars and finally settled on one that we liked; all we needed to do was figure out the final price and financing and we were good to go. Brian came back with a price that I knew he could beat, so I pushed him on it. He did the "let me go talk to my manager" and came back with a much better price; my wife and I were ready to pull the trigger. Before we did, I asked to see the break out of where each of those dollars were coming from. When we sat down to do the math, it turned out that the price he gave me did not include some pretty significant fees that I had been told earlier were built into every sale. I pointed out that these fees were missing from the price and Brian reassuringly said "I wouldn't ask any more questions about missing fees if I were you...you're getting a great price." Naturally my wife and I felt that we were being given the royal treatment -- they were waiving almost $1500 worth of fees! We proceeded onto the financing discussion and spent the next two hours figuring out all the details. Finally, right before we were ready to sign all the documentation (after being there for over four hours, from start to end) Brian came back and told us there had been a mistake and that his manager's had forgotten to include roughly $1,500 in fees (yep, you guessed it, the very same fees I had pointed out earlier). I thanked Brian for his time and my wife and I promptly left. One week later we purchased a brand new Honda Accord for roughly the same price at a competing dealership. More
