I've called Matt since my purchase on his cell on his DAYS OFF and he still answers which says SO much about him and how he actually cares about his customers. He went for our test drive with us and it was actually fun.The last thing I wanted was a SALES guy in the car while I really TEST drove it but Matt already had a great course charted and it was like having one of my friends in the back seat. Matthew really broke the mold of the "Pushy,Annoying ..Typical" salesman. He's a smart guy with a BIG future in anything he wants to do. Thanks Again Matt!!!!! More
This past April the crank shaft in my vehicle warped. As a commuting student this was a huge issue for me. I immediately started shopping around for cars and became interested in Honda Fits. I eventually honed in on that model of car and search used car lots for them. Whenever I would find one that seemed to suit me, it was the dealer's presentation and/or lack of professionalism that made me uneasy. I became fed up with third-party lots and moved onto Honda-certified dealerships. I decided that though I may ultimately spend more money I would be confident that the product would be of quality. My search brought me to Herb Chambers Honda of Seekonk where I was greeted promptly by Rene Acosta. The first sitting with Rene allowed me to explore all the possible vehicles on their lot as well as others through affiliated lots. Rene was knowledge, reasonable, and accommodating. Over the course of three weeks I continued to visit the dealer and meet with Rene to gather more information. I wanted to ensure that I was making the right choice (I'm overly thorough with decision-making) and Rene was patient. The great customer service in addition to the resources available at Herb Chambers Honda of Seekonk made me confident to purchase a vehicle from them. It has worked out for the best. We first meet the Herb Chambers Team on 9/04/2010 when we bought our first Honda vehicle CRV. We have had nothing but great experiences everytime that we have gone to the dealership from the first purchase t bought our first Honda vehicle CRV. We have had nothing but great experiences everytime that we have gone to the dealership from the first purchase that we made through all of the services in the past 2 years. On 9/5/12 I was caught in a flash flood. We found out that we didn't have towing or rental on our insurance policy. This in turn left us with no vehicle. When we called Herb Chambers this is when they went above and beyond. They were able to get us a loaner car the following day. We then found out that our car was a total loss. So this starts the process of purchasing a new vehicle all over again. Herb Chambers stepped it up again and made it easy for us and made it fun for our 7 year old. We give a special thanks to Scott, Maged and Bill for all there help and assistants through out this entire process. This is best dealership We have ever delt with by far. More
After having a bad experience at Metro Honda, my husband and I decided to check out Herb Chambers. We were very pleased with Medhi and how smoothly our lease to buy transaction went. Medhi was friendly, knowledgeable, and got us the best deal possible. Before visiting Herb Chambers, we were leaning towards an Elantra, but after finding out that the Civic had all the same features and would be $45 a month less with a lower buy out when the lease is up, it was a no brainer. We also saw all of the satisfied customers on their Facebook page and Dealerrater.com and it appears that they really stick by their cars. I just picked the car up today and the rest of my family is already interested in going to Herb Chambers. My 6’4” father was surprised that he had enough leg room when he took it for a spin. My drive to work will be less painful in the morning in a car that is not embarrassing! Thanks so much, Medhi! More
We visited the dealership on Saturday when we were on our way to buy a Toyota at another dealership. On a whim, we stopped to look at the CRVs. Nick approached us and spent quite awhile showing us various way to buy a Toyota at another dealership. On a whim, we stopped to look at the CRVs. Nick approached us and spent quite awhile showing us various features of the vehicles, eventually having us test drive the CRV. He was very personable but never did we feel pressured about purchasing a car there. We did end up leasing a 2013 Honda CRV and I can honestly say that if it were not for Nick, we would not have stayed nor purchased our vehicle there. He truly closed the deal for us and we are very happy knowing our daughter has a quality car where her safety is no longer a concern. Thanks Nick for helping us make a difficult decision! We often get our auto care done in CT (which we have not been impressed with). So when we were in Rhode Island visiting family we decided to get an oil change and tire rotation. I was looking to buy a 2009 Honda Accord 2dr Coupe! I went to other dealerships to find this specific car and knew what I wanted! One of the reasons I went to other dealerships is because they were close went to other dealerships to find this specific car and knew what I wanted! One of the reasons I went to other dealerships is because they were closer to my house!! I looked at multiply 09 Accord Coupes and I didn't find anything I wanted plus i wanted something in newer condition as this was very important to me. Then I remembered Herb Chambers as I had bought a 05 Pilot and a 03 Accord both certified and I liked that about the dealership. So when I went to Herb Chambers I was greater by Jida right away and told him what I was looking for! He took me out on a test ride and he was very strait and very helpful. When we got back I told him I wanted the car and the condition of the car was good. About an 8 of 10 as expected, a 10 being brand new which I know it's a used car.. When I got to the dealership to pick up the car I noticed a gouge in the drivers side bumber and I told Jida, he went inside to get Scott (not the GM but the one who buys used cars I think, not sure very good guy though) to show him I explained that the bumber was not like that during test drive and I know because I looked over every inch of every car I looked at. I know it's not a new car but explained that I was not happy, I felt like I was stuck and he offered a touch up bottle of paint and he applied it.. I went online to look at the puctures agsin and sure enough no scratch..Looks terrible btw! Then the next day I noticed a cracked or bubble in windshield, told Jida and he took care of it right away. This is my third car from Herb and might be my last! But this review is about Jida and I dont want to blur the two. The service I revived from him is outstanding!!!! Also I must mention that Paul Zito is the man and is an asset to Herb Chambers he was very good at helping me, polite and knowledgable. I hope this gets read and my bumber gets painted so I can continue to buy cars from Herb, I really do love the dealership it's just an unfortunate incident! Scott did give me a free oil change but does not fix my issue. Thank you Jay Coventry RI 02816 The bumber should be repainted and the reconditioning guys should be more carful when moving the cars!! I think it is very important that the certified cars are looked over before they are put on the lot, so that cars don't end up needing to be fixed after you buy it. Aside from the scratch which I am not happy at all about, the cracked windshield was fixed and I have an appointment Thursday for the heat button that is also broken. I know they are fixing it well aside from the scratch but it is still inconvenient! More
