I have Purchased several new cars over the years and the experience I had with Herb Chambers has been the best so far. Dean was extremely professional and knowledgeable about the Honda brand. He was not a 'pushy salesman', he was fantastic and would recommend him to anyone. I rated this dealer a few weeks ago when I bought my car there. I gave them all 5's. The buying process was a very good experience. My salesman Bruce Stein was great and very helpful. But I am now changing my rating due to the fact that I have had to take my car back 3 times already just to get the radio fixed. First time it was mis diagnosed saying I needed a new antenna but that was wrong. Then I was told it need a new Bass part and it would be in on Wed 7/27. I once again dropped my car off Wed morning, got a loaner car upon request. Then I get a call from my salesman saying that now the part won't be in until Friday!! This is ridiculous....it is just a radio and I should not be having to go back and forth 4 times now just to get the radio fixed. And on top of that the service dept told me to fill the gas up in the loaner when I return it! That is absolutely not happening.... Bruce has done all he could to help me out, it is not him at all. I know he is trying and is just as aggrevated as I am. It is the dealership that let me down. The car should have been fully inspected before it was on the lot to be sure there were no issues with it at all, even with the radio. More
This is our third Honda Odyssey. When our lease was up, we knew we were getting another one -- we basically just had to pick out the color. Paul Russo was friendly, helpful and very easy to understand whil we knew we were getting another one -- we basically just had to pick out the color. Paul Russo was friendly, helpful and very easy to understand while we went through the purchase process. (And was very patient with interruptions from our 6-year-old!) The finance person (whose name I can't recall) also made things as easy and clear as possible. During delivery, Kevin Raymond provided us with detailed information about the workings of the car and "geeked out" with my husband on the sound equipment and blue tooth functionality. All in all, this was a positive experience and I highly recommend these gentlemen to anyone looking to purchase a car. More

We recently purchased a 2007 Honda CR-V from Herb Chambers Honda of Seekonk and our overall experience there was nothing short of superb. We had been taking our 2001 Honda Civic for servicing to this Chambers Honda of Seekonk and our overall experience there was nothing short of superb. We had been taking our 2001 Honda Civic for servicing to this dealership for five years (although the car itself was purchased elsewhere) because we were so happy with their service department. While we had rather high expectations of their sales department, given our previous experience with their service department, they ended up surpassing our expectations by a rather large margin. Cliff Stern, the salesperson we dealt with, was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, had a great sense of humor, and (perhaps most importantly) was genuinely sincere and respectful - in short, all the qualities one wishes the prototypical used-car salesman would rather have. We test drove a number of used CR-Vs on their lot and the car we ended up choosing was indeed amongst those that Cliff had initially recommended based on our needs. Moreover, once we decided on the car, we shopped around online for financing on our own but their financing department still came up with by far the best rate we could find. Dealerships usually claim that the customer always comes first. What makes Herb Chambers Honda of Seekonk unique is that they truly mean it. More
I heard the commercial on a radio station, and I made a choice to go visit this dealership to see if they are what the commercial says. The people and service at Seekonk was exemplary. I tried other ca choice to go visit this dealership to see if they are what the commercial says. The people and service at Seekonk was exemplary. I tried other car dealerships and I was looked at in a bad light because of 1 item on my credit report. I was basically coming off of a long layoff and trying to rebuild my life that I had before the bad times. Mike, Paul and Tom treated me not as a customer but as a part of the family, and I can tell you today that without their help I would still be looking for a car today. They gave me a chance when most others pushed me away. I went into Herb Chambers to buy a car, but in the end they sold me a piece of my life back, not a car. Thank you Mike, Paul, Tom and Herb Chambers for being 100% of what you say you are, "Putting me in a Car" and not selling me one. I will be recommending Herb Chambers to anyone that asks me about where to buy a car and when I pay off this car, I will be back at Herb Chambers to do a trade in and get another one. When he knew that the car was not going to be ready at 10 am as promised due to some issue with the registration, he called me up at home to tell be about the situation and give me the option of either going to pick up car at 10 and have to return to dealer to register it or then go a little later that day and pick up the car already registered. This was very thoughtful of him. When I went to pickup the car, Homero was wiping down the car again because of the pollen and he wanted to make sure it was spotless inside and out. He was a polite young man and made the whole process a positive experience. I will recommend not only Herb Chambers Seekonk, but also Homero to my relatives and friends interested in buying or leasing a car. More
