David Lopez has been very responsive and quite pleasant. I had a personal tragedy during the time my new leased car was sitting at the dealer. Brian helped me order the MINI I really wanted. I financed with MINI and that process was very smooth, even when I had my credit history locked and had to reopen it for the approval process. The dealership is like a candy store if you like MINIs, which I do and really wanted one for my next car. I knew I wanted one of the less expensive ones and Brian did not try to upsell me on either the S version or the bigger cars (Clubman and Countryman). Brian convinced me to go with the manual transmission, and I am happy I did (all my previous cars had manual transmissions). I ended up going with the Signature trim on the Hardtop 4 door to get the run flat tires, which I am very happy with on my wife's van. I also appreciated getting the panoramic moonroof and the auto temp control and the interior mood lighting. The car handles better than expected (and I had high expectations) and the 3 cylinder is actually gutsy enough for me, even with highway driving. I have no regrets with my choice and am happy that Brian steered me towards what I really wanted. The only hiccup was that I was hoping to get a winter wheel set that was sold out at MINI USA when I picked the car up in mid December - I guess not surprising since there are supply chain issues everywhere at this point in the pandemic. Now I need to be searching for the appropriate wheels so I am not switching tires on the rims twice a year. That said, I am happy to have winter tires coming from 20 years with an all wheel drive car. More
