We purchased a 2013 Rav4 and could not have been happier with our salesman Marque. This is the second vehicle we purchased from him. He is courteous, professional and truly loves what he does. My wife and I came into the dealership to TEST DRIVE a Highlander ONLY. We were NOT there to buy. We had BOTH AGREED that we were out to shop ONLY, not to purchase. We planned on going to 2 dealerships Highlander ONLY. We were NOT there to buy. We had BOTH AGREED that we were out to shop ONLY, not to purchase. We planned on going to 2 dealerships, this one and a Honda dealership, about a couple miles away. We were more interested in seeing and test driving the Honda Ridgeline we saw online, than the Toyota Highlander. Bob made a great first impression with us. He was sincere, upfront and honest. He related to our price restrictions and even brought a Honda Ridgeline from another Herb Chambers dealership to us to test drive. We were able to do more in the time we were at Herb Chambers, with different makes, instead of spending it driving to different dealerships. We would have left if Bob were not so personable. After test driving the Ridgeline, we asked for a few minutes to talk and decided to purchase from him, and called him back over. My car, which we planned to trade, was what I would consider a mess. I did not wash it, clean it or prep it in order to get what I thought would be the best trade in value. That worked in my favor, they knew how the vehicle was really used. Bob and Dillon made the entire process seamless and within our means, Rennel finalized the process with the paperwork. The Highlander was Chambers Certified but we wanted Toyota Certified, which they did for us. The car was in great shape, real clean, prepped and serviced for us to pick it up a couple of days later, (due to our schedule, not theirs.) What a nice change from my 2003 Nissan Xterra to this Highlander! They set up my blue tooth music and my phone. Thank you Bob for greeting us at the door, we bought at Herb Chambers due to you. More
Have purchased 4 Toyotas from Dan since 1996, just want to say that my experiences working with Dan over the past 18 years have been fantastic. My most recent purchase is a brand new Toyota Sienna and a to say that my experiences working with Dan over the past 18 years have been fantastic. My most recent purchase is a brand new Toyota Sienna and after speaking with Dan and his commitment for a great deal, he brought me over to work with Tim Dalton. Working with Tim was so easy, he is honest and mindful of my time, as a parent of 3 year old twins. he brought vehicles over to my house to help me an my wife decide and even on delivery had Kid DVD ready to keep the kids entertained as he walked through the delivery of the van. The team at herb chambers Toyota in Auburn are a no pressure, committed to make sure you are satisfied and most important give you the best price! thanks Dan and Tim, and look forward to working with you again in the future for Toyota number 5. Salesmen were not familiar with model and options on truck I purchased. the dealer never followed up by contacting us on our purchase of our new Tundra. Tech person was not able to setup blue tooth and actually messed up what had been working. Email request for follow-up was never responded to After agreeing with sales manager on price was confronted by another manager who tried to get another $1000.00 out of us. Would not recommend this dealership unless you want to "play the game" More
I give them five stars, but if I could give them more I would. My family went in looking to buy one car for me, but we ended up leaving with three! Upon arriving, we were greeted by friendly staff. We had would. My family went in looking to buy one car for me, but we ended up leaving with three! Upon arriving, we were greeted by friendly staff. We had spoken to the sales manager, Mike Demers on the phone and told him we were interested in the Avalon, and their team had it pulled up and waiting for us to test drive. Jacob Perez, another sales associate helped us test drive every car we were interested in, taking his time bring out the ones we liked in the pouring rain! He even brought us beverages and snacks because we were there all day sealing deals on three cars. Mike was able to give us good prices on our trade-ins and also threw on some great features to our new vehicles. Miguel Cepeda was able to get each of us great interest rates and good deals on our protection packages. Dan Bortolussi even came out and gave us each a stuffed animal to say thank you for our purchases. We ended up getting a new Avalon, Venza, and Corolla, which we are all very happy with. We had a great experience and will be sure to recommend this dealership to our friends and family! More
Kennedy Lidonde was knowledgeable and helpful, his professionalism and sense of humor was greatly appreciated. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Kennedy to anyone who is considering purchasing or leasi professionalism and sense of humor was greatly appreciated. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Kennedy to anyone who is considering purchasing or leasing a Toyota, he is a Five Star. Kennedy Lidonde, Stephane Jovin and Renel Plymouth went above and beyond to full fill my needs and concerns without rushing me into a quick sale. Unfortunately during the process of getting the vehicle ready to take off the lot it got damaged (bumper and panel on passenger side). They redeemed themselves by fixing the damages and also the brakes in a timely manner for us to enjoy the vehicle. More
As far as I am concern, dealing with a car saleman could be very stressful. Especially when your are a female............ I have been driving a Toyota for over 25 years. I usually have business with another Toyota Dealership in Framingham. I deicded to stay closer to home. last July I was just checking out some of my options of trading in my 2004 Toyota Corolla. I just bought a 2011 Toyota Camry with 37,000 miles for only $12,500 from Herb Chambers Toyota in Auburn, MA. I originally went to Herb Chambers Hyundia across the street but I did not enjoy the experienc only $12,500 from Herb Chambers Toyota in Auburn, MA. I originally went to Herb Chambers Hyundia across the street but I did not enjoy the experience. The salesman was not helpful. When I went to Toyota I sat down with Jason Roszkiewicz, who was very friendly and helpful. After I described what I was looking for, Jason brought over a car from the Hyundia dealership across the street. He cautioned me that he had to double check the price because he couldn't believe that this car would only be $12,500 because that would be an amazing steal. Come to find out Hyundia, had accidentally appraised the car as having $70,000 miles instead of only $37,000. Since it was even priced this way online they had to offer me the deal, which I eagerly took. I don't get excited about cars, but I LOVE this car. A few days later, I met Jason at the DMV so I could get my car. Unfortunately I am blonde and made a huge mistake with my Insurance and had to spend almost 2 hours on the phone while in the parking lot until they would fax over my insurance card so that I could get my car. Jason passionately sat there and helped me through the process. Even though it was not looking like I would be able to get the card before the DMV closed, Jason never gave up. Jason had an extremely positive attitude and joked around with the workers at the DMV which is probably the reason they continued to process the paperwork even though the DMV should have closed a few minutes prior to receiving the fax. I would without a doubt recommend Herb Chambers Toyota of Auburn, MA. More

You can't Make This Up My husband and I were You can't Make This Up My husband and I were passing through Massachusetts on a cold Saturday morning on 12/7/13. We were on our way to NH driving You can't Make This Up My husband and I were passing through Massachusetts on a cold Saturday morning on 12/7/13. We were on our way to NH driving a 2001 Lexus RX300, a car that I often brag about and promote to my family, friends and coworkers. We were pulling a 5'x 8' covered Uhaul box trailer as we are moving to NH and in transition. About 3 or 4 miles before the Auburn, Ma exit we starting hearing an unfamiliar sound coming from the car engine. We turned the radio down, listened intently, and curiously exchanged thoughts of what the noise could be. Every time the gas petal was pressed the noise would grow louder and more concerning. We thought it would be best to pull off the next exit, pull over and check out the engine. Not that we had a clue about car engines and what to look at or check out, we thought it best to just have a look. We pulled into a Home Depot, got out of the running car, open the hood and proceeded to look at the running engine. The noise was a medium pitched banging sound; rat,tat,tat...A man not far away yelled over saying something about a piston rod broke and banging in our engine. He advised us to call a tow truck. We notice that there we several car dealerships on the main road and thought we should take a chance and drive to the nearest one which happened to be Langway, a Ford/Mercury dealership. We drove up, got out and went to the Service/Parts entrance to speak with someone about possibly taking a look and perhaps even fixing the engine. Needless to say we were a little naive thinking a Ford Dealer would not mind working on a Toyota made vehicle.... They politely and professionally let us know that they only worked on Ford, Mercury, and Lincoln vehicles. They referred us to a Toyota Dealer down the street and called the dealership for us letting them know we were in trouble, stranded and needed help. For that I thanked the dealership as that was our first encounter with impressive customer service. We again hopped into our car and took a chance driving down the street to the Herb Chambers Toyota dealership at 809 Washington Street, Auburn Ma. This is where we met Wayne Brodsky. We pulled up to the dealership in front of the Service and Parts entrance. We were a little distraught to say the least and quite relieved that our car made it. We were also very confident that we were there early enough (8:11am) to be the first customer of the day thinking they could take us right away and fix our car. A young woman was outside having a smoke break and came over to us as if she knew us, she obviously was the person that the Langway Dealership spoke too. We described to her the sound our engine was making and she proceeded to let us know that they would not be able to work on our car as it would be an all day project and needed to be scheduled, perhaps next Monday or Tuesday. We explained that we were not from the area we were passing through on our way to NH we could not come back, we really needed it fixed now. We asked her if her master mechanic could come over and just check it out, listen to it to see if he knew what might be the problem. She agreed and brought back the mechanic. We started the engine and the mechanic said he thought it was the piston rod tapping that he really wouldn't know until it was taken a part and that he could not work on it that day. My husband and I were at a loss of what to do. We got in the car to do what we did not know. No sooner than we shut the door a man was standing outside the driver side tapping on the window. My husband opened the door and all I heard was, "here's my card, if there is anything I can do to help you out...." It was a genuine, sincere voice. He said he heard the engine from a far, asked us what year our car was and how many miles we had on it. Upon responding he said, "this is a Lexus, it will probably cost more than the trade in value to get it fix, they'll have to tear apart the engine. You may want to consider just trading it in, let's talk". When we left our house at 5:30am that morning we certainly weren't expecting or planning to be a car dealership looking at vehicles and we certainly didn't expect to be at a Toyota Dealership. My husband told Wayne, "let me talk with my wife". We went in not realizing we were about to be exposed to the most amazing customer service we've ever experienced. Wayne Brodsky greeted us at the front door, his first words inside were, "I'm going to make sure you get exactly what you want and everything you want. I'm also going to make sure you get your Uhaul to New Hampshire TODAY even if I have to drive it myself." These were comforting words since our Lexus was broken down in front of the dealership. Wayne started by asking us questions about ourselves, what we were doing, why we had a Uhaul and what we liked about our car. Of course I told him I loved my Lexus and why. I asked if he had anything comparable to the Lexus comfort, style and ride. I told him all the features that I wanted and what was important to me. Wayne was a very good listener, was never ever pushy, never manipulating or calculating and was very accommodating. He recommended the Rav4 however I was not interested at all, my perception of the Rav4 was that it was rough riding sporty SUV and not a comfortable vehicle. We test drove the Highlander. It was disappointing and did not meet my expectation. Wayne again recommended the Rav4 explaining the features and that we would be surprised. We test drove the Rav4 and were surprised, we loved it! Wayne got us into the Limited model for the monthly payment we needed. He personally pulled our Uhaul with a rental car back to our destination waited while we unloaded it and pulled it back the Uhaul rental where we originally picked it up. About 3 hours of his time to help out complete strangers. That's extraordinary customer service! Herb Chambers Toyota provided us with a Rav4 rental car to use until our new car came in. We got our new car one week later and we just love it. I don't right letters and rarely fill out surveys. The customer service we experienced at Herb Chambers Toyota was just so incredible I felt compelled to share my story. Thank you to Wayne Brodsky for being at the dealership that morning and knocking on our window. Sent from my iPad More
