I went to Herb Chambers Toyota Auburn MA to buy some touch up paint to do it myself. To my surprise Martin Dodd and his service crew took the car and did the touch paint up for us. After that was done they even washed and vacuumed out the car. This is why the 2014 Venza we just purchased at this dealership is the 8th car we have bought here. More
I had a blowout on my tire, I have a new Toyota Avalon, I had purchased the road hazard ins. for the tires and I called to make an appt. and I was very lucky when I called because Chan answered the call. He had me bring in my car with the blown tire. He set everything for insurance. This was on a Friday afternoon, they could not get the tire until Monday afternoon. He had said since it was winter and I work night and had to work all weekend and it was a commute that I should not drive that much on the emergency tire, so he set me up with a very nice Corolla to use till Monday when my car was done. The Corolla was great it was clean, smelled great, full of gas. Monday afternoon Chan called to let me know the tire was in and they were doing the work and he would call as soon as they were finished. I went shopping up the street at BJ's and I was on my way home when Chan called back he told me the car was ready and went over what was done. I arrived at the dealership drove the Corolla into the service bay. Chan came to meet me at the car and then went over everything again as to what was done. He had someone bring my Avalon into the bay because I had groceries in the trunk of the Corolla. The young man backed the car in for me right up to the Corolla , they put my groceries in my truck and thanked me for coming in. My car was all washed and vacuumed. It was perfect again. That is what you call GREAT SERVICE and that is why I keep coming back. When I was leaving I stopped into the sales room and asked to see Kennedy, who is my salesman I bought all my cars from him, he is FANTASTIC also. I had got a new phone and had no idea how to hook it up to Bluetooth so I asked Kennedy and he came out in the cold and snow and set it up and made sure it worked. What a great experience again at your dealership!!!!! Thank You More
I have been a customer of yours for 5 years now and I am very pleased with your service writers. After coming in for some service, I noticed some hairline scatches on my front fender from service getting my very pleased with your service writers. I brought it to to the dealership and spoke with Lauriann who made a notation on my account for my next service to take care of it. They did just that when I arrived and then some! I recommended this dealer to a freind of mine and when we brought his car in they did the work but, We encountered problems with the vehicle and when we brought it back to have them look at, as an example we brought his car in they did the work but, We encountered problems with the vehicle and when we brought it back to have them look at, as an example we left when he got home there was transmission fluid leaking on the ground, we didn't even have any work done on the transmission and what another garage said is that the trans-axel was popped out of the trans and we never had a problem with it. We later brought it back because of sludge in the filter, which we never had that problem either and they told us that the intake manifold was leaking into the engine and that it would cost about a little over 1000.00 dollars to fix it ,so we had them do the repair, about two weeks later we were on the highway in Boston and blew the engine. Of course we heard from them that it was an older car "a 1998 and that that happens, well we knew that the regular maintenance was done on the vehicle and never had the problems that occurred, like when we went to leave after they did an alignment they force the shifter , causeing it to lock the ignition, there's a safety switch in the shifter so that you can't shut the car off, until the shifter is in the proper position, well the forced the shifter bending the linkage and we couldn't get the car to start, then they misdiagosed the problem and said that the problem was in the ignition key switchand drilled out the ignition, when they finished doing that they called and told us they'd have to keep it alittle longrbecause even though they changed the ignition switch they still couldn't start the car I told them as we did before it was in the shifter, they fixed the shifter and the car started. but when they made out the paperwork they Omitted the fact they had screwed up, this is a very untruthful, and untrustworthy dealership, deffinately not a dealer you want working on a car over ten years old because the next thing you'll be hearing is how old it is and that you should buy one of their used cars instead, they were pushinf hard for that. I wouldn't recomend them to anyone ever again , I think they should be investigate for causeing problems with peoples' cars in an attempt to sell you one of theirs! this has been my experience, and I'm sure we weren't the only one's. I'm going to complain to the commerce dept in Auburn, and the states Attorney General. More

Without the Herb Chambers Service team of Chan and Victor, I would of spent last weekend and the beginning of this week without my Camry and in tears. This is my first car with Herb Chambers but my f Victor, I would of spent last weekend and the beginning of this week without my Camry and in tears. This is my first car with Herb Chambers but my families third. Last snow storm, my car slide hard into the curb while trying to make the turn into my driveway. It was scheduled for an oil/tire rotation in two days so I would have it checked then. I received a phone call mid-afternoon that the tire-arm connecting to my axil was bent and not repairable! There was no way that the car could be fixed until Tuesday of this week (due to Monday holiday). I didn’t say anything but simply “OMGosh – I don’t have any transportation available and I don’t know what to do”. Chan responded with let me call you back. He spoke with Victor and the two of these commendable men decided to stay an hour and a half beyond their work time and repair my vehicle. That being their decision with no consumer request/pressure stands above and beyond customer service – especially when people decide to go above on their own from their own goodness. When I picked the car up that evening, I was greeted by Chan who was waiting and eager to help explain everything done on my car. It wasn’t until then that I told him my story - the day before my daughter’s car (Herb Chambers Toyota Corolla) was hit from behind and it spun her into a tree. Her car was towed away and she was brought to B&W Hospital and was treated and released – thank God! My car was all we had left. I did end up in tears at Herb Chambers but it was tears of joy in the service team and their commitment!! I have always had exceptional service but this time it surpassed all service in my 50+ years of life!!! Thank you to Jeff Krasner the Service Manager of the team of Chan and Victor!!!! If you want to buy a Toyota, I highly recommend this dealership. But you take your chances getting your car serviced there. Basically, when it comes to service there, it's a crap shoot. You "may" get the kind of service you request and expect. You "may" pay a fair price. But beware of the costly recommendations above and beyond what the manufacturer recommends. Know your maintenance owners' manual and become familiar with what the manufacturer actually recommends. This dealer recommends services that aren't usually needed. You also need to be aware that you will routinely be charged far more than a fair price to get your cabin air filter replaced (it takes less than a minute to change the $20 filter, and that's all it should cost). They even recommended a replacement was needed on my car the day after I had already replaced it when I took it in for an oil change (what does that say about honesty). The service manager will, as they say in westerns, pee down your back and tell you it's raining. A couple of the service writers are super people, but they have to do what they're told to do. Be careful. More
Service was slow for a basic oil change and tire rotation. About 90 minutes. I was there first thing at 7:15, with an appointment. I purchased one online-for a fraction of what they would charge, installed it myself (5 minute job) and guess what? The air filter was intact, it was not chewed apart by rodents. Yes, it was dirty, but still intact. What a bunch of liars! They were also going to charge me $100 for labor for the oil change and tire rotation, I kidd you not. Luckily, I have the complimentary 2 year maint. package. Once that expires, I will take my Toyota somewhere else to be serviced. This dealer is a ripoff, I don't understand the numerous positive reviews on this site. Maybe people enjoy throwing their money away. Only go to this dealer if you have a warranty, avoid if you have to pay anything out of pocket (i.e. basic maint services). There are better, more honest places out there. Good Luck. More
