Mr Rosengarten, I’m very familiar with your pricing quote and am sorry you feel the way you do. Our salesperson did make a simple honest mistake when, in locating and pricing your Wrangler request, he quoted you for a 2dr instead of the 4dr model you submitted. Our quote was always based on an MSRP of $25,670 which appeared on the face of the written quote you received and is simply not possible on a 4dr model with the equipment you were looking for. As you know, the MSRP on a 4dr like you had requested is much higher. You apparently recognized this error immediately and asked us to email you a copy of the window sticker for the vehicle we quoted, which we did. You immediately emailed us back and pointed out our mistake that vehicle we were pricing for you was a 2dr instead of the 4dr you wanted. We acknowledged our mistake, apologized, and re-quoted you for a 4dr that was available and as close to your requested specs. Even though the mistake was caught before you were inconvenienced by driving to the dealership, we did feel bad and therefore offered you an even bigger discount on the 4dr model. We are a company that takes our customer experience very seriously and great pride in our customer satisfaction record. We let all of our people know how important this is. We are also a company made up of people and people do make mistakes from time to time. From the moment you pointed out our mistake, we apologized and made reasonable efforts to make it up to you. Unfortunately, the only outcome satisfactory to you was to receive a 4dr model for the price of a 2dr. Most people would not consider this reasonable for an honest human error. I appreciate your feedback and I’m sorry you feel the way you do. Hal Perez hperez@mileone.com General Sales Manager Heritage Chrysler Jeep Dodge and Ram

The MSRP of the vehicle I was looking for is $25,545 (according to jeep.com) excluding tax, title, registration and destination fees. The vehicle I requested an online quote for was a white wrangler unlimited with a 6-speed manual transmission and no options, if possible. I made this request through a third party website who made it available to all the dealers I selected. Each dealership that responded to my request, quoted me a price for a white unlimited with as few options as possible, like I had requested. When I accepted your offer, I did not know of any mistake as you have accused me of knowing. What you neglected to mention was the phone call to your dealership shortly after accepting the quote and asking the salesman to tell me 2 things: 1. It was listed as a automatic, but then mentioned that is had a 6-speed manual transmission as an option. I just wanted to know if it was manual or auto. 2. An option was listed as a "23s package". What was this. The salesman listed a few features associated with the 23s package but could not tell me everything. While talking with him on the phone I asked if he could just email me the window sticker so I could read it for myself. When the window sticker was emailed to me, I quickly opened it and since I read from top to bottom and left to right, I have been accused of "knowing a mistake was made" because the first line of the window sticker said Jeep Wrangler, not wrangler unlimited. I emailed you right back NOT to inform you that a pricing error was made, but to request the sticker for the vehicle I was quoted. It was not until I received the email back from you that I was aware of a mistake that was made. While the price on the quote was always based on a MSRP of $25,670, it was also always based on a White Wrangler Unlimited which also appeared on the face of the written quote I received. when I received the quote I looked at the vehicle description and the offer price. The vehicle was described as a wrangler unlimited and that's all I wanted. It is not unreasonable to expect to receive the vehicle described for the price offered especially when it is all printed out on paper. I appreciate your efforts to make this better, but I understand this is something that cannot be handled through you. Thank you for trying.
