Bad Sales I was starting the process of looking for a new car and I was considering a Mazda. I was greeted by a salesperson when I went in the showroom, and tes I was starting the process of looking for a new car and I was considering a Mazda. I was greeted by a salesperson when I went in the showroom, and test drove the Mazda3 that I liked and they got my keys to appraise my trade in. I knew approximately where I needed to be for car price and payments, and they weren't anywhere close. My trade in value was super low. Granted, I wasn't 100% sold on the car while nice, and the salesperson wasn't making me WANT to buy the car. Since the car was 'too much' he looked at other cars which didn't match the key criteria of what I wanted. When he gave me the dealerships 'offer' for price, it was a verbal number-nothing written down. I ended up leaving the dealership. When I got follow up calls/ emails, they weren't budging at all on the price they wanted for the car, and instead implied I needed to put more down. Turns out, I got a new car elsewhere that started off at about the same MSRP as the Mazda I looked at, and I got it for the price I wanted. More

It began prior to our arrival at Hodges; upon my inquiry as to the features of the 2007 Hummer being advertised, he followed up the telephoned answers with two separate videos of the Hummer along with an informative narrative. One video concentrated on the interior; the other, the exterior. Together, they prompted me to set up an in-person review of the Hummer on the next day. That appointment to see and test drive the Hummer ended up with us driving it home later that afternoon, newly-purchased, after "surrendering" our Blazer and emptying it of all our "stuff" into three shopping bags. All along the way, Eric volunteered to do whatever needed to be done to smooth & expedite the switch over. The Hummer is a great source of pride and there is not one shred of Buyer's remorse! More

He was straight forward and honest and didn't push anything outside of budget.This dealer was not pushy and didn't try upselling unneeded products either. They stayed within the range I was looking and and even settled below budget. The only constructive criticism I have for this dealer is the amount of waiting time for the paperwork seemed a little excessive since I had made a down payment a couple days before hand. I was expecting it to take about an hour and ended up closer to 2 and half. Otherwise I am happy so far with the Kia Forte I purchased here. More
