The saving of a family vacation So here's our story - my family and I live in central Florida and drive a Honda Odyssey which we love and take care of. A month before our vacation, So here's our story - my family and I live in central Florida and drive a Honda Odyssey which we love and take care of. A month before our vacation, we had our alternator replaced. Well, two hours before we reached our destination in Tennessee, our van started jerking really bad. We pulled into the closest vehicle dealership we could find and they pointed us to Honda of Cleveland. It was fifteen minutes before closing. Salesman JD took us to the service department. At this point, I'm in tears. 22 weeks pregnant, two small kids, a husband with a hurt foot on crutches, and a van that's not working two hours from our first ever legit family vacation. The service department was so helpful- they took our van to get it fixed and loaned us a 2017 Ridgeline to use for our vacation week. They fixed our van, helped us load everything between the vehicles, gave us snacks, just went the extra mile in every way to fix our van and give us the best vacation ever. They were nicest people in Tennessee! More
Waiting Room Incident involving an employee’s person Roku? Roger has always been friendly and accommodating. Everyone at the service department was very nice, especially the vegetarian lady ( we didn’t catch Roger has always been friendly and accommodating. Everyone at the service department was very nice, especially the vegetarian lady ( we didn’t catch her name, but she always get my car ready for service). There was a guy sitting by the door in a baseball hat,( didn’t catch his name either), he was the one who signed me in. We were offered to sit in the waiting room, and there were a couple of people already in there. The tv was on, showing a reality show. One of the customers, (male) decided to check the available channels and happen to get in SLING, and picked a different tv show. A few minutes into it, he was called to check out. Lady customer continued watching, my husband left room and got us coffee, I continued reading my book, and show on tv suddenly stopped. Lady was wondering what happened. Then the guy in the hat ( the one who checked me in) came in the room, says:” somebody’s costing me money in here today!” obviously upset,quickly unplugged Roku and took it with him, leaving TV with “no signal” . Lady customer and I thought that was very rude of him. Even if I wasn’t watching, the other lady customer was, and it was obviously not her fault if the TV was on and another customer made it to SLING. Customers just assumed that it was Honda Property, and it was there for entertainment, while we wait for our vehicles to be serviced. The lady even looked for the remote, hopping she could watch a regular show, but the guy also took the remote with him. Sorry, if it cost him money, but we all believed that if it was his property, he should have expected that customers will use it since he placed it in the waiting room. Anyway, like I mentioned earlier, I was contented reading my book ( we don’t have cable at home and we don’t care a bit about not being able to watch TV) but other customers don’t feel that way, and I agree that this guy at the service department was very rude, leaving nothing nor offering nothing in exchange after he took his Roku out of the waiting room. Please give him more training when it comes to customer service, and may I suggest that since you are under construction, please also consider getting cable for the customers in waiting. Thanks! More
