Customer service was great. But, I received a brand new 2020 car that has glitches. Was “fixed” before I got the new car. After signing the contract I was told everything was fixed. In addition to dealing with Matt, our experience at your dealership was further enhanced by our time spent with Johnny Canaday your Business Manager. Honda of Columbia was one of three Honda dealerships I contacted via the Internet with all three ultimately responding to our request for a delivered price on a 36-Month lease, at 10,000 miles per year on a 2020 Hybrid CR-V EX-L. One of the three dealerships called numerous times with a different price each time (all higher than Columbia's in both the monthly lease amount and then way more in a down payment due to all of the add-ons), One of the other dealerships switched sales associates midway through the process so it meant starting all over with them resulting in numerous calls and emails and we were still waiting on a price when we heard from Honda of Columbia! Matt responded to my email with a call and after discussing the specifics of what we were looking for and the financial arrangements, he came back with an excellent price and we picked up our new Honda that evening! Even though we live in Aiken with other dealers closer, it was to our benefit that I took the time to contact Honda of Columbia. We were traveling from TN to Myrtle Beach when our engine light came on coming into Columbia. Immediately we called Honda of Columbia just before closing. Murl Hope in the service department told us about a light came on coming into Columbia. Immediately we called Honda of Columbia just before closing. Murl Hope in the service department told us about a hotel a block away and welcomed us early the next morning. They immediately found our problem while we had sales consultant Fritz Ring show us a new van. We chose to trade in our old Odyssey with 168,000 miles for the new one. Fritz was very thorough and coordinated the whole transaction with the service department and business department. He and Murl made us feel so welcome and comfortable that we wish we were closer and could continue to use Honda of Columbia. They took all the stress out of breaking down traveling and unexpectedly buying a new car. Much more enthusiastic and welcoming than our own home Honda dealership. Price was better than what we had seen in Tennessee, too! Honda of Columbia is worth the drive and I would definitely use them if we lived in the area! Ask for Murl in service and Fritz in sales. She invited my family in to see another rare color and we fell in love with it. Janette really worked hard to get us the best price and to make us happy. This was our second purchase from Honda of Columbia. The last time we bought a car from them it was not a pleasant experience.
