They canno If I could give minus stars, I would. I was sold a brand new vehicle that has been a true LEMON from the start, jeopardizing my safety. They cannot fix it after repeatedly bringing it in. To rub salt in the wound, they suggest trading it in and (as if one does not understand simple math) after playing with the numbers they provided a proposal on yet another new vehicle; essentially I would get nothing for the trade of a practically new vehicle (a lemon that they cannot fix) and they tag on the balance owed on the trade-in (without the credit for my having already paid for almost all of the balance) to another new vehicle they want me to buy. When I look at the new proposed balance, they super inflate my costs beyond the true cost and to unsweeten the deal further, their financing proposal aims at stripping me of another almost $9K in financing. You cannot make this up. Very upset and disappointed by the service and sales managers. Hopefully, Honda itself will take accountability and possibly issue related recalls (since this same issue keeps being reported including with NJTSA) and also as to this dealership's negligence in addressing these safety issues through the proper channels. It cannot fall on the Buyer/Owner to take the needed corrective actions--especially with a practically new vehicle, with relatively low mileage. It seems an unethical practice to ignore the Buyer/Owner's safety risks and that of others who could be impacted if this vehicle is out on the road, without assessing the cause and taking responsibility for its needed repairs. It's not enough to acknowledge that something is causing the serious random halting and malfunctioning of the vehicle, but just to say they cannot do anything because they do not know what is causing the malfunction. I remain in shock and basically carless with a practically new, but completely unsafe and often inoperational vehicle. For now, I am trying to resolve my individual situation, but very importantly also, I want to provide notice to protect others from ever having to endure my same experience. More
