Friendly and honest I don't think anyone looks forward to going into a dealership and dealing with a salesman. He was upfront with the fees the dealer charges per car and I thought that was commendable. The car was fairly priced and I would highly recommend Anthony as an A+ salesperson and person in general. For the second time they called, texted and insisted they have the car and have the keys on hand (Brittany), so we drove 90 minutes again to see it and the sales person told us his Manager Eli knew the car was already sold but lie on us so we can buy another car one year newer same mileage and 40% more expensive. And of course the manager never showed up to face his actions. On my experience If you look for a good experience when buying your car, you may want to skip Honda Freehold. More

I did my homework on the particular model i wanted to purchase and trade in my 3 years old vehicle as a down payment. I shopped around and all other dealers quoted me around the same amount for my trade in. Freehold came in at 3K less that the other dealers. I tried to walk out only t/b blocked by the salesman and the finance manager came out shouting that I couldn't have gotten better offer on my trade in. Well it turns out that I was right. Not only did i get the car i wanted from other Honda dealer at a much lesser price than Freehold Honda, I got the a slight raise on my trade in value as well. Overall I saved myself around 3.5K by not doing business with the sleazy folks at Freehold Honda. Do yourself a favor. Do your homework. Arm yourself with the knowledge from truecar, edmunds and other sources available on line. The sales folks at Freehold will gladly take your hard earned money if you are not prepared. More

Happy with car purchase and sales rep. Anthony Husband and I came to test drive a used Volvo on labor day that we found on the dealer's website. Though the dealership was busy, Anthony greeted us immediately and set us up in the vehicle. Uh oh! The battery is dead! No problem! Anthony jumped the car so we could take it for a spin. We were thrilled. He created a buying experience that was swift but relaxed. He listened to what we wanted and expertly facilitated the sale. Though the service department was closed at the time, he and his colleagues arranged to have the battery replaced with a new one so we could pick up the car on the way to work the next day. Anthony displayed great communication and responsiveness to our concerns. Thank you so much. More

BAIT AND SWITCH AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP! OLD SCHOOL BAIT N SWITCH ARTISTS!! did my homework and shopped the internet for the best deal. called this shack and asked if AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP! OLD SCHOOL BAIT N SWITCH ARTISTS!! did my homework and shopped the internet for the best deal. called this shack and asked if they could "match it" as they were closer than the dealership 2hrs away. after several emails and phone calls, going over every cost and fee and lease rate and down payment, the salesman said "yes, i spoke with my manager, we can match it!" we drove one hour to arrive at a not so nice showroom with not many cars to choose from, but a honda dealer none the less. after an hour of running my excellent credit, going over the car features and filling out numerous documents, the moment of truth arrived, the real deal! low and behold a mysterious $1700 appeared on the invoice!! the salesman claimed ignorance, although he probably was not the sharpest tool, and calmly said "oh must have been a computer error". he leaves to correct it and comes back with the non-professional, insulting manager who proceeded to insult my wife and I by saying "you really expected to come in here and get this car for that deal!" ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!??? we quickly left before i lowered myself to this shacks level, and may never buy a new car again! More
