Safety issues and repairs related to my CRV tires I would like to take a moment to send a note of appreciation to the Honda of Hackettstown Service Department manager David and his staff, few days ago I would like to take a moment to send a note of appreciation to the Honda of Hackettstown Service Department manager David and his staff, few days ago I had some safety issues related to my CRV tires and the manager with his technician did a superb job in taking the car in and troubleshooting the problem I reported, and replacing the defective tire in a short period of time. The service department was very friendly and caring about my safety concerns from the beginning, and from the moment I drove in to the last minute I walked out, it was absolutely a very pleasant experience. Special thanks goes to the Manager David for his customer focus, David has great values and that day he showed respect for people and personal care. He came out from his office to speak to me about my concerns and he appointed the perfect technician to perform the repairs. No drought, David has the best customer service department and that’s why I keep my three Honda cars at the Honda of Hackettstown location under his maintenance care. Highly recommended, thank you! 4 hour oil change I purchased a Civic from the Honda of Hackettstown with prepaid maintenance, when i took it in for and oil change, they took 4 hours to do the oil ch I purchased a Civic from the Honda of Hackettstown with prepaid maintenance, when i took it in for and oil change, they took 4 hours to do the oil change now they want me to come back for a software update, i may need to get a hotel room to wait for that repair. I have contacted Honda Fiance to see about cancelling the 30 dollars a month that i pay to wait 4 hours for an oil change. More
DO NOT GO THERE FOR SERVICE!!! I recently went there for my exhaust. When I saw their quote I was completely flabbergasted. Much to my REGRET, I had them fix my car for immediate I recently went there for my exhaust. When I saw their quote I was completely flabbergasted. Much to my REGRET, I had them fix my car for immediate convenience. However, it certainly wasn't convenient for my wallet. I was told multiple times that they would "definitely work on the price for you." They replaced the Cat Back Exhaust: Parts-1495.21 (THIS IS THEIR REDUCED PARTS PRICE) Labor-210.00. I did a little bit of searching and estimate total parts to cost 970.64. Keep in mind my price is the exact parts they used, but you can DEFINITELY get them much cheaper if you go more generic. When I went to pick up my car, my Service Advisor was off that day so my closeout was handled by the "Manager." He brought me the Invoice for approximately 1923.00 (including tax)!!! He said "was that what you were expecting?" I said "No." I was told that AT LEAST 130.00 would come off the original quote. In the end I paid 1826.20 (including tax-they took off about $97)!!! Bottom line... I GOT RIPPED OFF!!! DON'T LET IT HAPPEN TO YOU!!! More

Let me start by saying I have been to many Honda dealerships, some in NJ and others in PA and VA. The Honda of Hackettstown dealership is heads and toes above any dealership Honda or otherwise! They are friendly, take the time to see what you needs are and really seem to care. I have now been to Hackettstown Honda two times and had a remarkable experience each time. From the Cashier (Christine), to the Service calls (Bill), to one of gentleman who assisted me with questions (Alex) to the manager (Tom), everyone is exceptional. If you are looking for a Honda look no farther than Hackettstown Honda, you will not be disappointed! Ok, that last sentence might have sounded like a commercial, but it is true:) More
horrible service experience multiple times I purchased a new Honda CRV from Hackettstown Honda in around April. I was getting quotes from different dealers and when the salesperson called me I I purchased a new Honda CRV from Hackettstown Honda in around April. I was getting quotes from different dealers and when the salesperson called me I explained that I lived over an hour away and unless they had a great deal it wasn't worth me traveling. Well they did give me a great deal but then backtracked when we went in there and tried to add more on to the quote. My husband and I decided we were just going to leave but then the sales manager came over and reluctantly said he would honor the deal but we'd better give a great review, we agreed. Part of their sales pitch was the free oil changes which I had said it was just to far for us to take advantage of but kept it in the back of my mind. Well it turned out after we got home we did not have this cover that was to go in the back of the vehicle. I called the dealership and spoke with Mike I think and he stated that all vehicles didn't come with one and that he would get back to me. Mike never did get back to me but I called back a month later and had determined that it did in fact come with the vehicle. I believe a gentlemen named Kyle told me that he wasn't sure why I didn't have one but he would get back to me. Kyle did not get back to me, but when I called back he said he did have one and that I could pick it up. I explained it may be a little while but maybe my husband could get it on the way home from work. Kyle said no big deal it was being held there for us and my husband would just have to sign for it. It just so happened that we were coming up on an oil change so I figured I would go get the cover and have my oil changed. When I tried to get an appointment I was told there were no appointments just to come in. The next day I got up early and drove over an hour and when I drove up I was greeted by a young man that stated it was a 2 1/2 hour wait. I explained to him I drove over and hour and could not wait 2 1/2 hours and drive home over an hour again. I just didn't have five hours to dedicate to an oil change! Then I just asked him for the cover for my trunk and he said they didn't have it with no explanation. I had to leave the dealership with no cover, no oil change, no car wash, and basically no customer service. They were very unapologetic as well. I would not recommend this dealer to anyone nor would I ever make another purchase there. More
Will definitly come back I, since 2013, have dreaded this dealership. I would drive 30 minutes to Sussex Honda or Joyce Honda just to service my car. In May of 2015 I had boug I, since 2013, have dreaded this dealership. I would drive 30 minutes to Sussex Honda or Joyce Honda just to service my car. In May of 2015 I had bought a newer Honda at Sussex Honda. The service was ok. But this past week, out of convenience I went back to Honda of Hackettstown. This dealership has completely changed. The staff was mostly new, efficient, accommodating, and courteous. Thanks to Ryan, Bob, and Greg, I will be coming back to this location. More

Even though I unfortunately purchased my car at Joyce, (for all future purchasers...Joyce has horrible customer service once you sign those papers!), I started bringing my car to Hackettstown for service. Felt like part of the family! great people! My girlfriend had scheduled an appointment for an oil change and issues with her tires. Thomas Graham personally made sure we were taken care of. Very polite, kind, and friendly. Welcomed us like we were part of his family! The head of service, Bob was just as great as Thomas Graham, very honest and upfront about everything! Not to mention the car service light also called for a tire rotation to be done and they didn't just rotate our tires to make a dollar. they actually checked to see if it was needed, which it was not. Also can't forget about the free car wash included! What really makes this the Best Honda dealer around is what happened to us after leaving from the oil change. The weather was not great out and roads were now covered in snow on the way home. A person driving in front of us stopped short instead of making a turn because there was another car coming from the other way. We had to swerve to avoid the car in front of us and damaged the front right tire when we hit the curb. Thankfully we were able to make it back to the dealership safely and once again the staff were great! Tom and Bob were very accommodating to the situation at hand and got us in and out with a new tire right away at a great price. I wouldn't go anywhere else to buy a car or get service done. More
