Hi, I went in yesterday to get my son a new Honda HRV. I located the car he wanted on Honda's search tool. I used the Honda website to see the lease specials. The 219 x 36 months (10,000 miles per year) w I located the car he wanted on Honda's search tool. I used the Honda website to see the lease specials. The 219 x 36 months (10,000 miles per year) with $4300.00 due at lease signing was advertised all over the Honda website. I fully expected to be able to go to the Honda Superstore find the HRV that I priced out and leave with it for the 219 per month. I have 800+ credit so no concerns there. My salesman, Heri, was a nice guy, he did everything I asked and was quick about it. He brought back the numbers for me, I could tell he was uncomfortable presenting them to an educated buyer. By the way, I had a trade that was not with me, I brought the title to get a rough estimate. I know what it is worth so as long as we were close we move forward. Geri hands me a worksheet like it was 1998 with three payments. The lowest was 340 x 36 months with 4000.00 down. He tells me the "owner" is adding 1700.00 over the sticker price to all the cars due to market conditions! It was just so disappointing. I wanted to share my experience so you all would know what to expect. I have no problem updating my review if they call me and honor the lease special Honda is running. Until then, I am posting my experience on every platform I can to educate consumers on what to expect. As a side note, the facility itself is horrendous. You honestly feel like you're in a time machine taking me back to the 90s. No parking and the inside was cluttered, unorganized, and not clean. Come on Honda, you can do better than this. More
