This is my first car purchasing experience and I had an excellent representative out of Amir Kay to help walk me through it. I was in a difficult situation as my other car had its transmission go out. I ne excellent representative out of Amir Kay to help walk me through it. I was in a difficult situation as my other car had its transmission go out. I needed a way to get to and from work and was having my dad drive me in the meantime. I had been using an old Ford and decided it was time to upgrade to something a bit nicer, even if it would cost me. I wanted something quality that would last. I found a Buick Encore that someone had traded in at a different BMW dealership, and they were just trying to get rid of it. There were a few issues with it as it was a used car, but they didn't want anything to do with fixing those issues. They just wanted their money and me to get off their lot. They were pressuring me into trying to buy it with the issues, saying there was anther person coming to get it if I don't (they weren't), and then were trying to sell me all this other stuff to get more out of me. They told me that the car was priced at a lower value because of the cosmetic problems it had, but that it wasn't worth their time to deal with. I didn't like their strategy, as it was very pushy, and I wasn't entirely sure what I wanted. Needless to say, I left thinking that all car salesmen were that stereotypical, pushy type that are looking to sneak issues past you to buy their car and then leave you out to dry once you leave the lot. Here's where the story changes. Fortunately, I had found a good deal on a used 2018 Honda Accord at this dealership (Honda Superstore of Lisle) and decided to give it a look. The moment I stepped in, Amir was nothing but friendly. He pulled the car around, and any minor issues I had found, he assured they would take care of before leaving the lot, and they did. Being a used car, they absolutely made it look new. I ran into an issue, though, because the car I had thought I was going to look at had actually been sold a little while earlier. There was some misunderstanding on my end, and the car they were really showing me was a nicer trim of the same model. I was originally intent on just going after the base trim since it was the least expensive option. Once the numbers were laid out and it wasn't the deal I saw online, we then discovered my misunderstanding. Here's where I am thrilled with their service, because rather than just having me walk out the door disappointed, they showed that they truly valued my business. Amir went to talk with the manager and came back with a deal on the car that you wouldn't find within 500 miles, especially with how nice of a condition the car was in, and in this tough market right now. I was sold already because of how he fought for my business, but not at all in a pushy way. Also, rather than trying to nickel and dime me with the end-of-purchase stuff, he explained to me on how reliable their cars are, and if the extra stuff doesn't fit my needs or finances, then I could still trust and be happy with my purchase. It's such a different way to do business than a lot of salesmen, but he was so easy to work with and it made me much more comfortable in my decision. There was no back-and-forth bargaining; he gave me the best deal on the first try and has even been reaching out after my purchase to make sure everything is still going well. I would recommend this location and Amir 100 times over, and I would be more than happy to do business with them when I purchase another car in the future. More
