Working with Mike Lehman and Ramy Tarawneh was a good experience, they were knowledgeable, sincere, and worked together to finish our change from a 2010 CRV to a 2012 CRV. The vehicle's improvements mad experience, they were knowledgeable, sincere, and worked together to finish our change from a 2010 CRV to a 2012 CRV. The vehicle's improvements made it easy to do the trade, even though the time spent getting to a final sale and driving away took more time than necessary. We came in expecting to spend about an hour waiting for our car to be serviced and didn't leave until after 2pm. The process could be simpler for the customer, especially a satisfied Honda customer. Time wasted is the reason for the lower rating for overall experience. More
We had a 2012 Honda Civic which we had purchased in 2011 that we brought in for an oil change and tire repair. My husband was interested in some information on a Honda Hybrid. Mike Lehman was very knowledge that we brought in for an oil change and tire repair. My husband was interested in some information on a Honda Hybrid. Mike Lehman was very knowledgeable on the Honda Hybrid, provided detail information, and answered all our questions. The Honda team was not only courteous, friendly, and very knowledgeable of their products but also offered us a deal which we could not pass up. I would recommend Honda of Ocala to anyone in the market of purchasing a new or used car. More
I came in to have my seat fixed, as some of the fibers had come out on the drivers seat. The team applied leather to all of the seats. My daughter and I were in and out in a flash with our loaner vehicle. had come out on the drivers seat. The team applied leather to all of the seats. My daughter and I were in and out in a flash with our loaner vehicle. The longest part of the process was reinstalling my space ship sized car seat. The loner vehicle was a gorgeous, spotless, 2012 Accord. The loaner was so great, I didn't want to give it back!!!! I dropped the car off on Thursday. My vehicle was ready Tuesday. When we stopped by to get our vehicle, it was waiting in the bay and gleaming!!!!!! The entire car had been detailed, top to bottom, compartments and everything. The leather was beautiful and looked like straight off the factory line. The car smelled lovely, was immaculate inside and the oil change was done, the tires rotated and with my coupon, I paid nothing for the engine service. Again, the worst part of the trip was finagling the car seat back into place, but both times, we were assisted with the seat. Everyone was friendly. There was no wait whatsoever. And to top it off, it was a great excuse to "have to stop by the mall" as we were just down the street! Overall, I am just thrilled. I couldn't be happier and with the relationship I have built here, I won't be going anywhere else to upgrade to a minivan or pilot in the future. More
This dealer advertised Ladie's Day on Monday, so I decided to take my car in for an oil change. I fully expected it to be a bait and switch kind of tactic, where they offer you a lunch then try to con you into all types of work. I was so surprised and elated that the service people, manager, and lady who worked at the cafe were friendly and professional & finished my oil change in record time! They didn't try to sell me anything, or tell me my car needed repairs. They honored competitor coupons and were professional! The only thing I thought was a little out of place was an award they won from the Breast Cancer Awareness Group, which was a pink bra, placed in a "trophy" case which was on display at the cash register. Even though it was a recognition from an outside organization, I felt it was somewhat crude. More
We were bringing our pre-owned 2006 Pilot in for an over due oil change & decided to look at the new cars while waiting. Ramy showed us around & introduced us to the new CR-V. We took it for a ride & enjoye due oil change & decided to look at the new cars while waiting. Ramy showed us around & introduced us to the new CR-V. We took it for a ride & enjoyed the easy handling & it was very comfortable. We travel back & forth from Fl to Ct & with the cost of gas, this car would be more economical then the Pilot while at the same time just as comforable on the long drives. With Ramy there was no high pressure but worked with us for a deal that was in our budget which included the paying off of the loan on the Pilot. More

It seems that every time I go in for an oil change there is always more probems with the car. They are always trying to talk you into more maintenance. When i go in for an oil change I just want that, an is always more probems with the car. They are always trying to talk you into more maintenance. When i go in for an oil change I just want that, and to be left alone,no here comes a salesman to try to sell you a new car. The same salesman approached me the last two times I was in there. If I wanted a new car I would go to the showroom. I would just once like to go in, sit down and be left alone. I watched him harrass this older couple and when they said no he went and came back with his manager. What in the world do you people think you are doing. One more time and I will go somewhere else for my service. More
OK, after seeing all these "great" reviews I got even more depressed than I was at the dealership. I went in with a recall letter that was supposed to be free. I was told before they took my c got even more depressed than I was at the dealership. I went in with a recall letter that was supposed to be free. I was told before they took my car back to work on it that I needed a battery (There was a little corrosion on one of the posts but I never had a problem) I was told that if I didn't replace the battery it would damage the post and that would be costly. Ok, do it. Then after about 30 minutes, I was called into the garage to look at the brake pad wear and told I needed brake pads and rotors. Again, I had no evidence of anything being wrong. My car does have 65,000 miles on it. I hesitated, citing I would wait a few months and was told I needed to have it done right away and that I could get a credit card through them with 6 months same as cash. I am a financially responsible person and didn't want this "easy credit". Bottom line, I think I agreed to work that was not as urgent as they made it seem. I don't know how to recommend or not recommend, what are you going to do when you get a letter citing a safety recall? And all dealers probably do this. Also, while I was waiting at the cafe bar, a salesman came up to me and tried to get me to trade in my car. When I told him no, he didn't stop trying to push. I have just moved to Florida, and contrary to what it seems is the opinion of seniors here, we aren't all made of money. I am on a limited income, single, and just wanted to live somewhere where I could remain active for what time I have left. I feel like I was targeted and actually felt violated while I was in the dealership and have been depressed ever since because I feel like I was played for a fool. I should mention that I had my tires rotated at my home town just before moving here, and they didn't mention me needing anything to do with brakes. I was just a sucker, please do be on your guard, I will from now on. More
I brought our 2010 Insight in for it's regular Auto Butler service. While waiting, I walked into the sales department, just out of curiosity. The rest is history...I was immediately asked by a salesm Butler service. While waiting, I walked into the sales department, just out of curiosity. The rest is history...I was immediately asked by a salesman if he could help, told him the reason for my visit, & mentioned that our Insight did not have cruise control. To make a long story short, I walked out of there with a new 2012 Honda Civic EX, which we agreed to make as a lease. This is the 6th car we've purchased from Honda of Ocala since 2001, making the lease a practical one, since obviously, we could trade every 3 years without upsetting our routine. The reason we keep choosing Honda of Ocala is because of their friendly & professional manner, including all the salesmen & service personnel. My salesman this trip was Ramy (can't think of last name) who bent over backward to make sure I was satisfied with our purchase. More
Again a bad experience with this Honda service dept. For a second time a tire has separated and they are full of excuses why this is not a warrenty item. Both times I took the tire to other repair shop a second time a tire has separated and they are full of excuses why this is not a warrenty item. Both times I took the tire to other repair shops and they said that the damage was due to separation and should be under warrenty. This time when I called I was already at another shop that discovered the problem a large bubble in the tread of my tire where the belts were separating. This caused that area of the tire to go bald. What does tire expert Jennifer at Honda of Ocala Say. you must have dragged the tire with the emergency brake. LIKELY since it was on the front of the car. Anyway if you want good service then DON'T go to honda of ocala! More
