We have bought over 50 Hondas in the past 30 years. At least 90% were purchased from R.G., starting when he was at the old Globe Honda in Clearwater. At that time we lived in Clearwater. When R.G. moved to the dealership in Sarasota we continued to buy from him, and have referred several customers to him over the years. Just referred another one this week. We have since moved to Hudson at the furthest point in Pasco County and continue to buy from Wilde Sun Honda. Since we are over 100 miles from the dealership, the new CR-V was delivered to us. Where else do you get customer service like that? During this purchase, Jeannie was our primary contact. We trade cars every year or two and will continue with Wilde Sun Honda and the Stathas team. It is a true pleasure to write a review on Wilde Honda. I went into Wilde Honda to get a price on selling my '09 Ford Edge. I was directed to Jay Alexander who gave me a fair price on the car. I told him I didn't want to buy another Ford (because I had purchased four Fords in the last five years at Matthew Currie Ford) and they tried to rip me off again and again and the sales people are just so rude. Anyway, I spoke with Jay about getting an Accord and he told me that he would direct me to a new car salesperson. I spoke with Kim Cannello and she was awesome. Between Jay and Kim there wasn't a negotiating war (I did my homework) and they gave me a fair price. The next day I was back at the dealership and now have my new Accord. I was treated respectfully and my business was truly appreciated. I also must add the the Finance Manager was terrific also (Martin O'Brien). The entire process went smoothly. Not for a minute did I feel "ripped off". I was so pleased with the entire process, that I am considering turning my Mercedes in to get the 2013 Honda when it comes out later this year. Kudos to Honda for having a great sales staff!!!! More

Instead I met Michael Malmsbury who took the time to show me a few things about the Honda CR-V. He explained how to access the dealer web site and what things to include in my email. The next day during regular business hours he showed me the CR-V and we test drove it. Now communication skills and customer service are what make the deal, products sell themselves and Honda definitely has the product. Michael’s skills and patience were outstanding. My wife had not seen the CR-V, so when she came to test drive the SUV. He took the time with my wife to explain features and minor things that sometimes get overlooked. He made her feel comfortable and with no sales pressure. He was understanding and very knowledgeable. He sold his product and used the strength of Honda not the negative salesmanship of badmouthing another product. The experience at Wilde Honda was enjoyable and professional. All of the staff from Jay Alexander, Flynt Johnson and Joe Doyle completed the process and had us out the door in our new Honda CR-V.
