Honda of Valley Stream responded

The customer came in and we ordered the part that they needed. The weight and dimensions listed on the website were not correct. It showed the part being 70x10.7x6 and in reality, it is 79x32x9. Additionally, the shipping price jumped from $110.27 since to anywhere from $325 to $425 depending on the shipping company. We checked with them to see if any were cheaper, but there were not. Due to both issues, the order was cancelled. The only alternative we could think of was offered when we explained to the customer that it would be cheaper to buy it from a local dealer and apologized for the inconvenience. We know the customer was disappointed, but feel we offered the best customer service we could considering the circumstances.
