I brought my 2003 Honda Civic to have slipping in the transmission checked out and to see why the key sometimes wouldn't start the car plus a few more minor things. I met Martin the advisor and went over what needed to be done and left. When he called me thre were very few useful answers; when I pickup the car, the report we went over was not very helpful. The only thing that was resolved was my back window worked now. After paying 4 x $150 diagnostic totaling $651 I left and went next door to the parts dept to have a key cut because I only got one from the previous owner. To my surprise the new key corrected the starting issue and the car started fine. I had to pay $97 for this new key. The following day when I started the car and let it worm-up the check engine light came on. (This has not happened before) and the engine was struggling to stay on. I had to drive in 1st gear to my mechanic who luckily was near by. This is a Honda dealer I don't think all this should be allowed to happen to me for a car your company built... Overall I just felt like I came to the dealership, got a lot of talk, paid a lot of money and got very little to show for it. PS you also need a system for customers to self service and find out what's going on with there car while it is in the shop. Pepboys a much less sophisticated company than Honda has this... When I drop my car off at Pepboys I can check and get messages telling what's going on and when I will be ready. When I dropped my car off with you I felt like it went into a black hole and came out on the other side with very few answers or results and a hefty bill. More
The last two experiences I’ve had at Honda of Valley Stream Service Center have been extremely bad. I brought my CRV on for an oil change and the tech managed to crash my car into something causing dama Stream Service Center have been extremely bad. I brought my CRV on for an oil change and the tech managed to crash my car into something causing damage to my lights and body of the car. It was fixed by Honda, but that shouldn’t have happened at all. And recently I had the oil in my HRV changed, and after getting on the highway I noticed that my hood wasn’t closed all the way. It could have flown open and caused me to crash. I’m seriously rethinking of visiting another Honda service center as this level of carelessness by the techs is reckless. In my almost 30 years of dealing with Honda of Valley Stream I’ve never had this experience. More

Always prompt in handling any service and everyone is very nice and caring and truly sincere and want to h service center - my 4th Honda Civic lease! From the moment you pull up your car and everyone that checks you in are excellent and helpful , all the gentlemen inside the garage and take your car really care and anyone who passes asks if you need anything and being helped all so caring it’s very refreshing ! To all the people who even answer the phones ll helpful and the check out to pay are all excellent! and when you pick up the car they it is fast and prompt and again anyone sees you will ask do you need your car always willing to be sure you are being taken care of!! More

The individuals who work there are all very nice and make you feel welcomed and not like a burden. You feel like a person and not just a number.
