Chip Hill - Yes, there is much the Dealership can do about "Dealer Fees" - it is controlled by the Dealership. If you were to actually break down the "Dealer Fees" into components it would reveal that the customer is actually paying for "additional profit", amongst the small costs of having paperwork filled out and other small assorted costs. Just like the Airlines broke out the "Baggage Fees" which don't cover only the costs of transporting bags - the "Dealer Fees" are a way the Dealerships have which don't cover only the costs of service to the customer. And just stop with the "All Dealers have it." line of xx. You may be able to confuse and cajole some people - but smarter ones understand what kind of game it is and what they need to do to counter it. But good try though.

Sorry for your issues. I am sure our Service Manager is aware of this issue. Our job is to fix the problem. This is a little different considering the time it has taken to get to where you are on the issue. My experience thinks they will eventually find a fix. (Honda).
