Came in to get my AC recharged. I asked point blank how much are typical AC jobs, and he skirted around answering honestly and said a recharge would only be $200. It took about an hour for my vehicle to be looked at even though I had an appointment, then upon diagnosis, it is my compressor which is faulty and cost $2100 to repair. I was shocked as I explicitly asked how much typical AC jobs can be, he said typical problems are the condenser or compressor but only said a recharge is $200, never was honest that a compressor replacement could cost upwards of thousands of dollars. He tried to claim ignorance, saying he did know how much a compressor replacement would cost for my exact make or model once I told him I was upset about being clear about the potential cost. He finally admitted he knew a compressor replacement would be around $1700. If he was honest and told me this upfront I would have no problem, but being dishonest by skirting around the question of the potential cost, and then trying to claim ignorance was ridiculous. I can't express my disappointment with my service enough. More

I was delighted with my experience at Hudson Honda. I came in to sales last Saturday with a specific used car in mind. She answered all my questions and was clearly there to help with my needs, not hers. MANNY was also very friendly, helpful, clear and efficient with the bank loan and paperwork. Lots of smiles and courtesy shown by everyone. When I got in the car, I noticed that the air conditioning wasn’t working. CARLOS and MAGDA assured me that if I could bring it in for service, it would be repaired at no cost. So, on Tuesday I brought the car in for repair of the a/c and a few other little things I had notice needed repair. I told JAHN in Service that I had tickets for the Mets-Yankees game and “I’d love to be outta here by 4pm.” He came out around 3pm to give me an update and status on my repair which was very helpful. Then, at 4pm, just as I had requested, he came out and said “Howard, you’re done.” The entire experience and every personal interaction has been surprisingly positive and I feel like I now have friends at Hudson Honda.
