I was away from home on a business trip returning from Eastern TN when my vehicle broke down in the NC mountains on the afternoon of Jan. 8th. While I was awaiting the tow from AAA my husband contacted Hy Eastern TN when my vehicle broke down in the NC mountains on the afternoon of Jan. 8th. While I was awaiting the tow from AAA my husband contacted Hyundai of Asheville and spoke w/ Brian discussing the situation. Brian was very helpful from the start, demonstrating concern and advising that they would be certain to look at my vehicle as soon as possible once I arrived. The tow truck took longer than anticipated, and I barely made it to the dealership right before closing. Although he had a prior appointment, Brian stayed and greeted me and made sure that I was ok. Even though there were no loaner cars or rental cars available in the area due to the cold weather that had occurred over the recent days, he ensured that I made it to my hotel safely. Early the next morning I received a call regarding the status of my vehicle. The service center had my SUV repaired and I was on my way home by early afternoon. I greatly appreciate the service that Brian and his team provided. They showed concern and care and did everything that they could to ensure my safety for my return trip back to Atlanta. For a situation that nobody plans on or wants to occur, Brian's assistance was greatly appreciated. More
My family I went to Hyundai of Asheville expecting to get get turned down even for a used car, but left the lot with a NEW Hyundai!! Justin Primm was awesome!! From the moment we walked into the dealership, the atmosphere was welcoming and professional. Richard Parton, our salesman, first asked appropriate questions concerning our purchasing criteria. Then he answered questions we had about Hyundai since this was the first time we had looked at this manufacturer. He then suggested we test drive a vehicle and had one brought up for our inspection. He pointed out features we might appreciate and explained the warranties. When we returned to the dealership after the test drive, the sales manager, Michael Lawson, came over and introduced himself and asked if there were additional questions or concerns he could address. At all times, everyone was friendly and extremely knowledgeable about their stock. We were able to agree on a purchase price that was extremely attractive and now are the proud owners of a 2013 Hyundai Sonata. We love it. More

This is our second used car purchase from this dealer. Our first purchase was in February of 2012, and we had a very positive experience with both the sales and finance staff. Because of our first experience, we decided to return to this dealership for another used Hyundai. We found the car we wanted at a good price and the sales staff was very friendly and took a significant amount of time with us to finalize the sale. When we encountered some confusion during the finance process, we expressed our concerns, and the team negotiated a satisfactory resolution to the issues we raised. We are pleased with the outcome, and grateful to the staff for taking the time and trouble to address our concerns. We love our first Hyundai (a Santa Fe), and we are confident that we will enjoy our new Sonata as well. More
My experience was amazing!!! After speaking with Mary Ann wanting to purchase a Genesis, Ryan informed her that one had come available. It arrived and I loved it!!! My experience with the 3 staff members mentioned was excellent! i spoke with Mary Ann upon arrival, she was pleasant down to earth, and thorough. I was unable o afford the vehicle I originally wanted but she was able to redirect me to a brand new vehicle that was within my budget and walked me through my process explaining the features and I was completely satisfied. I did not know I was eligible for a $500 rebate as a veteran and found out today and called her to let her know and she asked if I had the proper paper work for proof and is assisting me further (4 days after the purchase) due to the oversight, she is awesome!! Charles was friendly and eased my mind about financing and assured me that they would do the best they could to accomodate me, he fullfilled what he proposed!! And last but not least, BILLY the (WIZ) KID DID AN OUTSTANDING JOB SECURING ME A FINANCER, THAT EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS!! This team of employees at this dealership deserve a standing ovation for OUTSTANDING customer service, they did a wonderful job!! More
I had done quite a lot of research prior to beginning to actually visit dealerships to test drive vehicles. I had pretty much decided on a Hyundai Sonata, both because of the great warranty Hyundai offers actually visit dealerships to test drive vehicles. I had pretty much decided on a Hyundai Sonata, both because of the great warranty Hyundai offers on their vehicles, and because I loved the way the car looked. I had a friend that had owned a Hyundai, and loved it. I had gone so far as to pre-qualify through Hyundai of Asheville's website. Ryan called me within a day, to go over my application, and set up an appointment on Saturday to test-drive some cars. So far, so good, right? I arrived at the dealership on Saturday, at my appointment time, and asked to speak with Ryan (which he had asked me to do during our phone call.) Ryan immediately passed me on to one of the new salespeople, John Paul, or JP. JP was a delight, young and eager, and wonderful to work with. I told JP what vehicles I was interested in, told him I had done quite a lot of research online, told him I had pre-qualified with Ryan, and even told him what color Sonata I wanted to try out. I then spent the next 40 minutes filling out paperwork, including another credit application, even though I had already done so. I kept trying to explain that I was only shopping at this point, not buying, and I just WANTED TO DRIVE A CAR! Poor JP had to explain that this ridiculous procedure was just how they did things, and that he was going to go get a car to drive, as soon as we finished. At one point, my brother, who was with me, and who sold cars once upon a time, stuck his head into the corner office, where at least 10 employees were milling around, and told them they were going to lose an almost certain sale if they didn't just let me test drive a vehicle!!! Long story short, by the time they finally brought a vehicle up to try out (not the one I was interested in, by the way), I was so annoyed, there was no possible way I was going to fall in love with the car. I have to stress that the salesperson, JP was terrific. He had nothing to do with the loss of this sale. His supervisor, who's name I cannot recall, probably because I was so annoyed, tried to do some damage control after we drove the car, and proceeded to try to hard-sell me, even though I told him also that I was only shopping, not buying. I would never return to this dealership, and will certainly share my experience with anyone I know who asks. First rule of sales - you can't sell a product your customer isn't in love with. I never had a chance to love the car, so Hyundai of Asheville won't be selling me one... More
