Having owned Hyundai vehicles in the past I was already sold on the brand. That being said I still looked at the competitors product. I was pleasantly surprised to see Hyundai was still on top of its game and the value for the money far exceeded Honda, Ford, and Toyota. I did my due diligence research online, watched product videos, and got basic pricing info via true car. So knowing what I wanted and having a good idea of a fair price made my afternoon with Shawn so much more enjoyable. I had worked with Shawn before and just the fact he has been helping people purchase the Hyundai brand for 10 years speaks volumes regarding his knowledge and passion for the product. I got to the store and within ten minutes Shawn was showing me all the improvements made since my last Hyundai. Of course I knew this part was gonna be fun. Next when we went to talk number Shawn took the time to listen to me and what I was looking for. Well when he came back from the "office" he had a better price than the online sites said I should get for the car I wanted! In short time everything was worked out, I had signed papers, and was driving home with my beautiful Electric Blue 2017 Elantra Value Edition! Now I'm getting around 40 MPG highway driving the distance to work and saving my hemi for the woods and family trips. The gas savings alone nearly negates the new car payment and I'm saving wear and tear on my truck. It was an awesome decision and I love my new car.
