I bought my used car at Hyundai of St Augustine. My sales experience was horrible. When I got home with my car I discovered there was a small pit in my windshield that was noted on the initial report sales experience was horrible. When I got home with my car I discovered there was a small pit in my windshield that was noted on the initial report when the car was taken in. I was directed to Cheryl to get this fixed, procure headrests for my back seat, and get the second key made for me because I had only received one set when I got my car. Cheryl was wonderful. She called the guy that did there window repairs. He made a special trip to the shop to make the repair. It looks great. Cheryl ordered my headrest for me and gave me a key blank for the service department to go have my key made. I subsequently found out that I could not get the key made from their key blank. When my headrest came in and I told this to Cheryl she called the person who does their. That person also made a trip over to fix my key. Cheryl has excellent follow through, is very helpful and cheerful. She is a pleasure to do business with. Although I did not enjoy my car buying experience I look forward to having my car serviced there because of Cheryl. More
After dealing with Orange park and Key (who were closer) I tried Saint Augustine Hyundai via the internet. It was the 31st of July and had seen a competitors add. The dealing with OP was terrible, all the stereo typical salesman stuff, way too pushy. I spoke to Randy at Saint Augustine and explained to him what I wanted (i picked the car online from their inventory). I gave him my trade in information. There were good incentives that expired on the same day. I told him if he cam back with a good deal I would take the car today. He called back/emailed me his offer in 30 minutes. I took the offer, and I was surprised at the dealership that NOTHING had changed. I had come in at 7pm and was out the door with a new car at 8:15. Randy was really helpful and was bending over backwards to make sure he explained all about the car and the dealership. He told me bout the car not coming with a spare and the other pros and cons. I appreciate the fact the he did not try to hide anything and everything waiting for me when I got to the dealership. The finance guy (Joey) had the typical ad on speech. I told him i have not had a car longer then 3 years and have never needed warranty work or extended services. He was good at accepting that and did not do the hard sell. He said He had to offer it and understood I was not interested. All in all a very good experience. BTW before I got to the dealer OP had their sales manager call me. I told him the deal i was offered by Saint Augustine and said they would beat it by $100. I told him even if he beat it by $500 i was not interested in dealing with them! More

Everyone I dealt with at Hyundai of St. Augustine was very pleasant and helpful. I did not ever feel pressured to make a decision and felt that they were honest with me. He was very informative and did a good job of keeping in contact with me without over doing it. I spoke with and dealt with Paul Smathers when I got there as Darryl was helping someone else. Paul was great. A very nice man who was helpful and had a sense of humor. I dealt with David for the financing situation. David was very helpful in getting everything together and went the extra mile to find out phone numbers that we needed. I HIGHLY recommend Hyundai of St. Augustine and may purchase from them again. Just bought a 2013 Elantra. Kyle was our vehicle consultant. We explained what we were looking for and he showed us three models that met our criteria. He did a good job of comparing the features of each vehicle so that we could determine which was best for us. He provided all of the pricing info that we requested, and explained what went in to each price. We were able to use the Elantra $1,500 Hyundai financing rebate and we feel like we got excellent value for our purchase. He was very organized and ready for us when we arrived at the dealership which meant we were able to complete paper work and take possession of our vehicle in an efficient manner, which was important to us. Kyle also took the time to go over in detail all of the features of our vehicle which greatly reduced the learning curve you usually experience when adjusting to a new car. All in all a great experience, and we have alreadty recommended the dealership to friends who are considering a new car. More
My husband and I just recently purchased our new Hyundai Veloster on the 17th of July. Paul was great.
