Today I went in to purchase a 2011 Hyundai Sonata Limited 2.0T. This was my first time buying a new car so to say I was nervous, would be a huge understatemnet. My wife had totaled our previous vehicle, so we were without a car. I needed a car fast! So after checking out dealerships such as the Hyundai of Orange Park and Jenkins Hyundai in Leesburg, I was feeling like I was never going to find the car I wanted for the price I could afford. I decided to give Joey a call and see what he had on his lot. He had what I was looking for, so I packed up the family and off to dealership we went. When I arrived, I had just stepped out of my car when I was approached by a salesman. He asked me if there was anything he could do for me and I replied that I had an apt. with Joey Cassata. He said, Oh Mr.(last name), yes Joey is inside, he has been expecting you. I really liked that a different salesman knew my name, it made me feel as if I was a customer rather than just another appointment. It came time for the test drive. I had already driven the Sonata before, but my wife had not. So I said I would let her drive it and I would watch the kids. My wife was very nervous being inside that new car. There are a lot of buttons and it can be kind of intimidating. Joey realized that him being there was not making my wife very comfortable, so he said, "here, let me go inside so you don't feel like your in the spotlight." He then walked right inside and gave me the opportunity to go over the features with my wife and make her much more comfortable in the new car. I was really surprised with this, other salesman want to hawk over you and point out every aspect of the car as if you were just born the day prior and was unaware of things like Ipod Control and Bluetooth. After a good test drive, it came time to talk numbers. I had already received a USAA certified no haggle price so that is where I assumed we would start. Their first number was actually less than that. Not to mention it included an ipod cable, carpeted floor mats, and a cargo net. Although I thought this price was fair and reasonable I needed them to come down just a tad for me. I was explaining to Joey what I needed them to come down to, when the manager who gives the Ok on prices called because he had overheard our discussion. He gave the ok on my offer and off to the paperwork guy I went to write my check. I could go on and on with different examples of impressive service. From the moment I stepped out of my rental car til the moment I stepped into my new Sonata, I really felt at ease. I never felt pressured or uncomfortable about anything. Bottom line is I would recommend this dealership as a whole to anyone, but if you get an appointment with Joey, then I can guarantee you great service with a considerate and respectable person. More

I live in south carolina and do business in saint augustine so it would have been very difficult to "come in". I purchased my first Sonata from Jon Hall in October. I was told that the Turbo Sonata's would not be out until after the new year by my salesman. I was contacted via email by Joey at Hyundai of St. Augus was told that the Turbo Sonata's would not be out until after the new year by my salesman. I was contacted via email by Joey at Hyundai of St. Augustine a few days later letting me know that he had received his first batch of Turbo Sonata's as he said he would. I was happy to learn the Turbo was available but upset at the bad information Jon Hall had given. I scheduled a test drive with Joey and knew right away that Hyundai of St. Augustine was a different kind of dealership. There was no pressure or back and forth to get to my price. I took a fairly large hit to trade my new car so quickly but Hyundai of St. Augustine and Joey made it less painful to do. I am very happy that I was able to get the exact car in the exact COLOR that I wanted. I will do all of my business with Hyundai of St. Augustine and recommend them to friends and family with ease. Josh Davis was the salesperson who greeted us as we drove onto the dealership. He was very attentive and knowledgable about the used vehicles on the lot. I absolutely DREAD the thought of car shopping. It's horrible! For the 1st time EVER I can say it was GOOD experience. Frank was not pushy and answered all questions. His human-like mannerism won me over! I left the dealership and only thing I had on my mind was 'MY car.' I did decide to visit other dealerships and right away I received the push and the "Let's see if you qualify" line. I couldn't take it!! I didn't care to know about any of the vechiles they had to offer, I just wanted to RUN out of there. Frank and Hyundai of St. Augustine is the ONLY dealer and dealership I would ever recommend!!!! We had done our homework and we knew we had secured a good deal. We then met with Randy Selph to finish some paperwork. We planned on picking up the new car the next day. SINCE MY SISTER WAS HAVING SURGERY THE NEXT DAY, RANDY OFFERED TO DELIVER THE NEW CAR TO OUR HOME AND PICK UP OUR TRADE-IN. THIS WENT BEYOND THE CALL OF DUTY. RANDY ARRIVED WITH OUR NEW CAR AND GAVE US A DEMONSTRATION OF THE WORKINGS OF THE NEW SONATA. Hyundai can be proud of the employees working at Hyundai of St. Augustine dealtership.
