Joey allowed me to drive the car and then carefully went over the features of the Elantra upon return to the lot. I did not feel rushed and he allowed me to ask questions and see for myself what the car had to offer. He worked exceptionally hard to get me a great deal with reasonable monthly payments that I could afford--being a State of Florida employee. I found all the staff, from the other sales people to the financial guru, Dana, to be friendly, professional and knowledgeable. My friend and I were pleased to meet the owner, Mr. DiFeo. Mr. DiFeo went out of his way to make us feel like VIP guests and customers, not just a number. I was so happy about my purchase that I encouraged my friend to inquire about an Elantra for herself. She appreciated also be treated with respect and was pleased with her car buying experience. She is now a happy owner of her own 2010 Hyundai Elantra. Hyundai was offering a great lease deal on the Elantra. I first made a phone call and talked to Richard, and he was very detailed and honest about what the deal was. When I thought it over and called back, Richard was not available, so Roosevelt helped me. I told him what I wanted and he said the only thing they didn't have was the color I wanted. Told him I would be in the next day. Upon arrival, both Richard and Roosevelt were there to greet me, and they got the color Elantra I wanted the evening before. The process was seamless, pleasant, and quick. I had contacted another Hyundai dealer in the area also, and they were not upfront, rude, and deceptive. I would recommend this dealership to anyone interested in a Hyundai, wherever you live, it's worth the drive. More
I walked into Hyundai of St Augustine after visiting several other car dealerships and I admit I never was too keen about Hyundai's However, after speaking with Frank and test driving a couple of Hyunda several other car dealerships and I admit I never was too keen about Hyundai's However, after speaking with Frank and test driving a couple of Hyundai Elantra's, I had a change of heart and decided that Hyundai was the best fit for me. Frank was great, right from the beginning. He was more than just a salesman trying to push a car on me, like others I have had the misfortune of dealing with, he was more like a family friend, guiding me and helping me find the perfect car. Buying a car is a huge investment and Frank and the rest of the finance department helped make it possible for me. I know I certainly made the right choice in selecting the Elantra and Frank. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone who wants to work with a very helpful and friendly staff. There is a reason they were voted dealer of the year! More
We arrived at the dealer on a Sat. morning, shortly after arriving we where greeted not by an aggresive sales person , as in most dealerships BUT by the owner. Enter Mr.Roosevelt Ramsubhag, Mr.Ramsubhag was one of the friendliest and sincere car salesmen I have ever delt with in my 79 years of buying cares, and I have bought many in that time. After asking what model we where interested in he set up a test drive. I had already driven the Sonata a two other dealers, however Rosey by now, pointed out several of the model features that the others left on answer. The price was considerbly lower plus a very fair price for my trade. We where going to arrange financeing with our credit union but onc again THIS dealer arranged a 2.5% loan ,saving my wife and I even more money. We took delivery of our new Sonata GLS, Rosey explained the workings of our Sonata, the finance dept.got all the papers signed and all this in record time WITHOUT trying to sell us everything from undercoating to life insurance. Dealing with Frank Messina and St. Augustine Hyundai has actually changed my view on dealers. Their intitial quote on the Hyundai Geneis 4.6 was actually a fair one and they met the price I wanted to pay without any games. This was all accomplished through phone calls and e-mails. They did not have my car in stock with the exact options though located it and had it delivered within a few days. The pick up process was efficient though Frank took the time to explain all the features of the car. I indicated up front that i was not interested in financing, warranties, and other add-ons and the fiannce manager did not try to sell me add ons. The amount on the purchase agreement was exactly what I had expected to pay (first time I have had that happen a dealer). Additionally, the owner took time to thank us for our business and discuss the car even though he was heading home. Calls and e-mails to Frank after the sale with questions were met with the same timely response as they were before the sale. I look forward to dealing with them for all my service needs even though it is a 30 mile drive. Driving the Genesis has also changed my view of Hyundais. I feel like I have all the features offered in comparable Lexus, BMW's, & Mercedes for far less money. I highly reccomend dealing with Frank Messina & St Augustine for your Hyundai needs. More
