Ide Honda is a family owned and operated Honda Dealership in Penfield, NY. It all started in 1970, when Dick Ide opened his first dealership in Fairport, NY. In 1973 he added the Honda franchise. A few years later, in 1977, he moved both dealerships to Panorama Trail.
In 1984, Dick's oldest son, Mitch Ide, opened Mitch Ide's Ideal Chevy-Olds-Geo in Geneseo, NY. Along with his wife, Anne, they ran the dealership until selling it in 2000.
In 2007 Mitch took on responsibility for the Honda dealership from his father and has been involved in daily operations. When we say family owned and operated, we mean it. Mitch is the owner, Anne is the CFO, their son, Rich is the VP.

I test drove and placed deposit for new CR-V in October and received it a few weeks earlier than originally scheduled, in November. Salesmen was Preston Cone, a top notch guy! Added Honda accessories were correctly installed, and car interior was properly clean. Paperwork was mistake-free. Note about "Wax/Polish/Materials" category charge on new car purchase order: since I had noticed they had used a lot of ArmorAll in interior of their used cars, I requested that they not do that to my new car interior (request was followed); I didn't expect them to perform equivalent treatment under hood to new engine to create "wet shinny" look, but they did, unfortunately. I wiped off harmless excess "wet shiny" coating under hood when I got home, just because I'm picky in that way. If either cosmetic treatment doesn't meet your new car purchase expectations, request that they not be applied before car is prepped. I'm confident your choice will be honored. More
