Ide Honda is a family owned and operated Honda Dealership in Penfield, NY. It all started in 1970, when Dick Ide opened his first dealership in Fairport, NY. In 1973 he added the Honda franchise. A few years later, in 1977, he moved both dealerships to Panorama Trail.
In 1984, Dick's oldest son, Mitch Ide, opened Mitch Ide's Ideal Chevy-Olds-Geo in Geneseo, NY. Along with his wife, Anne, they ran the dealership until selling it in 2000.
In 2007 Mitch took on responsibility for the Honda dealership from his father and has been involved in daily operations. When we say family owned and operated, we mean it. Mitch is the owner, Anne is the CFO, their son, Rich is the VP.

I got my first Honda in 1996 from Ide and have always had a great experience. I think the service department is great, but now has gone a little downhill because it's so hard to get in touch with anyone (the a great experience. I just bought my 4th Honda from them and the experience was not ideal. My sales person was a really nice guy, but I don't think he knew the vehicle he was selling me. He told me several things that just weren't correct. Knowing some of those things, I would not have bought the car to be honest. And, when I picked the car up, the A/C was not working and they had to replace the condenser. Did not give me a good feeling with a brand new vehicle. I don't see myself going back for a 5th Honda. More

This was our first interaction with Ide Honda, and we were pleased. Jenn responded quickly to our email inquiry, and was immediately available when we arrived at the dealership. She had the vehicle we were interested in ready for us to see and test drive. She had our vehicle assessed while we were gone, and reviewed the findings with us when we returned. We were able to address financial issues readily, and we picked up our new Pilot the next day. We were very satisfied with our interactions with Jenn, and with everyone at the dealership. All of the employees my family and I encountered while visiting the dealership this time around (I came about three times before finally choosing a Honda Passport) were kind, upfront, and patient while I decided which vehicle would be my next purchase. Brad Constantino was especially helpful in answering my various questions, following up with emails, and supporting me in understanding the key features of my new vehicle. Extremely long wait times and no communication. Being a mom with 2 kids and one car it is extremely difficult to make time to get things taken care of when they are in school. I had to pick my daughter up from preschool and I was at the dealership for almost 2 hours without any communication that my car did not even get up on to the lift until an hour and a half after my scheduled appointment. I had been looking for cars for a few months. I did a lot of comparing different makes. Cost, features, safety and whatever else you could compare. When I finally decided on the three makes and models I wanted to test drive I searched for dealerships. I chose one dealership for two of the test drives and Ide to test drive the Honda Accord. I'm so glad I went with Ide Honda. Everything about the process was hassle free and stress free. The test drive was easy to set up. Discussing the cost, trade and payments was stressful. Finalizing the deal was easy. Picking up my new car was quick and easy as well. A lot of that had to do with my salesman. If you're thinking about getting a Honda I highly recommend going to Ide and talking to Brad Constantino. Right from the start he had a good vibe. When I was done with the test drive he chatted with me for a couple of minutes and asked if I wanted to see any numbers. Not pushy about it at all. After talking about numbers for a bit I told him I had other test drives scheduled and would make a decision after that. He was understanding of this. Not once did he try to push or force me into a deal. It was very refreshing. When I decided on going with the Accord, which was about a week later, he was quick to respond and get the ball rolling. Just picked up my new Honda Prologue from Ide Honda (this is my 9th Honda I have gotten from Ide Honda). Wow, what a vehicle!! My sales consultant was Brad Constantino and I have to say with this being my f is my 9th Honda I have gotten from Ide Honda). Wow, what a vehicle!! My sales consultant was Brad Constantino and I have to say with this being my first EV, Brad was very thorough walking me through everything about the vehicle at my delivery. I had researched this vehicle extensively before purchase and Brad was still able to show me things I did not know. I have even contacted him since delivery with questions and he was able to answer all of them. I did my financing paperwork with Kiersten Herman and she was great as well!! In a time period where the used car market is terrible and can feel predatory, especially after recently being in an accident, I was relieved to work with Jen Flammia at Ide Honda. I never felt pressured by her or distrusting of her when she helped me find the best option for my needs. She balanced professionalism and realism that made me feel like a person and not a number or a dollar sign. After answering all my questions and talking through concerns and details, I was able to sign on a certified pre-owned and get back on the road, and I couldn't have been more secure in my choice with Jen guiding me through the process!
