Ide Volkswagen is a family owned and operated Volkswagen Dealership in East Rochester, NY. It all started in 1970, when Dick Ide opened his first dealership in Fairport, NY. In 1973 he added the Honda franchise. A few years later, in 1977, he moved both dealerships to Panorama Trail.
In 1984, Dick's oldest son, Mitch Ide, opened Mitch Ide's Ideal Chevy-Olds-Geo in Geneseo, NY. Along with his wife, Anne, they ran the dealership until selling it in 2000.
In 2007 Mitch took on responsibility for the Honda dealership from his father and has been involved in daily operations. When we say family owned and operated, we mean it. Mitch is the owner, Anne is the CFO, their son, Rich is the VP.

Working with Todd made the purchase of my new 13 VW CC the easiest car purchase I have made to date. Going forward I will be using this dealer to service both the VW's that I own, in fact my 2011 VW was in for service and was diagnosed, repaired under warranty, and lastly delivered to me in time. Very happy with the new management at this dealer, back when it was Vincent VW I would not set foot in this location and had to take my cars 20 miles to the other side of town which I don't see myself doing again. I was in the market for a Volkswagen for a few months now and saw that Dick Ide bought out Vincent, so I decided to go down and check out the cars there. I had a great experience. Dan was a great salesman an and saw that Dick Ide bought out Vincent, so I decided to go down and check out the cars there. I had a great experience. Dan was a great salesman and he hooked me up. He gave me all the information I needed to make a good decision and I felt like I did that. I’m very happy with everything. I ended up getting the 2013 VW Jetta GLI. I went in a hundred different directions with the color and I didn’t know what to do. I came down checked out all the colors, and I loved the white. More

I'm buying a car about every 2 to 3 years. Dan Welch did a great job in explaining our new car. He was great. I never had a sales person or dealer go over the operation and all the options as Dan did. It a great job in explaining our new car. He was great. I never had a sales person or dealer go over the operation and all the options as Dan did. It was my best experience buying a car I ever had. We even met the owners of the dealership. We have 3 cars in our family, and 2 out of 3 are Volkwagen. I'm sold on Dan, a true professional. I'll be back. More
