Imperial Ford

I went to Imperial at the suggestion of my spouse to look at Fords for him, but Dodge Caravans for me. I did a little research online prior to choosing Imperial but based on what I found it seemed like they at Fords for him, but Dodge Caravans for me. We were greeted warmly by Dean Childs, our salesperson when we got on the lot. My spouse told him what we both wanted and we first were shown the Ford Flex which my spouse was interested in then we headed over to the Dodge lot when I saw a 'used' Dodge Grand Caravan. The vehicle caught my eye but the sticker price made me take an even closer look. Dean allowed me to take the van for a test drive and I was sold. I wanted that van. He made the whole process easy and enjoyable. The finance department was equally as knowledgeable, friendly and willing to answer any and all questions as Dean was. I have never had as pleasant and enjoyable an experience at any dealership as I did when I got to Imperial. The lot was amazing, the showroom was impeccable and the decor was totally awesome--my kids, who came along with me, loved it there and were treated just as well as we had been. I never once felt pressure to buy a car, but I did and I'm thrilled with my new van. I was so happy with my experience I song the praises of Dean, himself, along with their finance department on my Facebook page. I have since recommended Imperial to a few of my personal friends who are looking to buy a new cars to go see Dean at Imperial. It was an awesome experience and I will go back to Imperial for my future car purchases. I have other dealerships that are much closer, but I'm more than willing to drive 45 minutes to Mendon because of the stellar customer service my entire family received. More

I bought three cars from imperial. First 3 experiences were great. This last time I went I thought I was somewhere else. It wasn't what I expected. I was looking for a used truck on line and came across 1 at Imperial Ford I liked. I called and spoked to Lisa who said the truck was under agreement disappointed I was ready to move on when Lisa called bac at Imperial Ford I liked. I called and spoked to Lisa who said the truck was under agreement disappointed I was ready to move on when Lisa called back to say the truck was still available and since it was the last day of the month it would be a good day to get a deal on it. I fired up my motorcycle and took a ride down to the dealership where I met with Shawn Goulet a salesmen there who showed me the truck and we took it out for a test ride. Liking what I saw and considering the work that was proposed to be done as part of the sale I made an offer I thought was a low ball one. Expecting a counter offer Shawn after talking to the sales manger came back and said "congratulations you just bought a truck" It took a few days to do all the front end work needed which is common on a truck with over 70k miles on it and repair the AC which is ice cold now also a wiring harness was replaced which wasn't part of the deal but needed to be done for safety. After putting over 500 miles on the truck the battery light came on since I had gotten a new one as part of the purchase figured it was something else which it was the alternator had gone bad and being over 40 miles from the dealer they sent a tow truck to pick up the truck and replaced the bad alternator which can let go it is a used truck after all and something I don't have to worry about now all for no charge. I had new tires put on the truck and took it for an alignment check locally and was told that a front wheel bearing was going. I called and talked to Erin at service and she said to bring the truck in to have it checked out. They agreed it should be replaced and since the one on the other side had already been replaced no to mention just about everything else that can be replaced the whole front end is practically new. While there I talked to the service tech and asked if he would adjust my rear drum brakes and siphon out some transmission fluid which was over the full mark both of which he took care of all at no charge to me. Lastly they read the code to use the outside keypad which is usually a $50.00 dollar charge for free too. I now have a 2002 Explorer Sport track with just over 78k on it that is in like new condition, it came with a cap over the bed and a remote starter and alarm system the original owner had installed. I even got a coffee and muffin at the dinner while waiting for my truck to be serviced so all and all I am very happy with my purchase and would do business with them in the future. More

Had my ford towed truck in for bad wiring that killed my fuel pump. They called and said Good news it was fixed, Bad news it wasnt covered under warranty and the bill was $300.00. I asked to speak with Kevin Mehan the owner who said "If I had bought the truck from them he would have gone to bat for me" Wrong Answer Kevin! I filed a 93A fraud law suit because my warranty book clearly stated wiring was covered. Two days later I got a call from someone there saying the $300 check would be mailed to me. They aggrevated the crap out of me when they could have just done the right thing from the beginning. More

This is our fourth vehicle purchased through Imperial Ford. My wife and I were looking for a moderately priced used vehicle. The first auto that Dennis Leoleis found was a 2004 Mercury Montego which was fine as I was looking for an auto that would be good for sales, which equates to carrying clients and driving long distances. Jeff Nadim, the Finance Manager spent considerable time with us attempting to obtain financing that would fit our budget. This vehicle didn't fit our financial requirements as the value was too low given the milage and year. Dennis found another vehicle, a 2008 Ford Taurus, AWD version. On the surface I didn't think he was talking about us when he mentioned it as I certainly thought it would be out of our price range. Jeff went to work, and about 45 minutes later he said we could have it, and it would be within our financial requirements. The day after, prior to picking up the vehicle,as a result of diligence and dedication, he worked with another bank and lowered our payment considerably. Both Jeff and Dennis were terrific. They worked very hard on what I would consider a lower value sale. My wife and I want to sincerely thank both of them for a job well done. We got a great car, terrific financing, and overall a feeling of satisfaction. Excellent effort and customer satisfaction! More

Imperial provided a great car buying experience. We went there late on a Saturday afternoon and we drove away in a Mustang at 9:00 the same night! The details relative to having the car ready to go were taken care of very efficiently by our saleman Mike Peters. The showroom at Imperial is a must see with its museum quality music memorabilia, complimentary snack bar and jumbo screen TV, I did not want to go home. Imperial is where I am buying my new Fords from now on. More

When we purchased a car, we were told that it would be registered and inspected when wwe came to pick it up the follwing week. When we came in not only was it not registered or inspected, they gave us a p registered and inspected when wwe came to pick it up the follwing week. When we came in not only was it not registered or inspected, they gave us a problem when we asked why it wasn't done. We were then jockeyed around to 3 more people, not two explanations were the same and finally they said they wanted me to meet their 'runner' to get it inspected and that it would only take 15 minutes. That was pure bull@*$!, because anyone and everyone knows regitering a vehicle is a day long process in RI, that is even disregarding the inspection process. Overall they are extremely rude and unorganized, the sales man we dealt with was just a jerk once he got our money, as if we needed to do him a favor. very very dissatisfied. More

My family has been so pleased with Imperial and we will always continue to shop there. Now the dealership has moved to Mendon, MA and all I have to say is WOW! If you have not been to the new dealerships over in Mendon you really need to drop in and just see everything they have in the showroom. At Imperial it is just a win-win situation, you really can't lose there. It is a sure shot. I actually have an interest now in boating and I will be needing a truck to fit my needs. I have never had a truck before but I know this Christmas of 2009 when I am ready to buy a truck I know where to go. I have seen some beautiful Chevrolet Avalanches and Cadillac Escalade EXTs over at Imperial. The dealership has earned my trust. My trust is not given, it was earned. I am just very comfortable dealing with Imperial. More
