Wendy, I apologize there was an error on your contract and I am sure that error has been corrected by now. Unfortunately errors do sometimes happen with the amount of paperwork that is generated on these transactions. As for our documentation fee, it is fully disclosed on every document you were given beginning the moment you began negotiating your deal. Unlike some other dealerships you may have visited, our retail disclosure form contains all of the information involved in your transaction including the price of the vehicle, discount, rebates you qualify for, monthly payment amount and term or length of the loan. I am confident that our sales process is more transparent than most other dealerships in all of new England especially when it comes to the fees associated with the purchase. The amount of the documentation fee is very competitive with all of the dealerships in our market and is, in many cases, far less than the savings our customers realize in their overall transaction. By the way, I did look at your particular transaction and I am very confident that you received a great deal on your new vehicle. I hope that helps, but feel free to reach out to me if you have any other questions. Charles B. Rocha General Manager W:978-739-3718 crocha@iramotorgroup.com

Charles, Thank you for your reply. Thanks to Internet document fee is not business secret any more. If anyone googles it online, they will easily find out average or range of document fee in each state. I gave you two links as example. https://www.edmunds.com/car-buying/what-fees-should-you-pay.html#chart http://www.realcartips.com/newcars/482-documentation-fees-by-state.shtml Edmunds and realcartips are trusted web sites. After you view these two links, you will see in Massachusetts average doc fee is $321or $340 and range of doc fee is $195 to $495.Do you still think your documentation fee is "very competitive". $495 is the highest doc fee. As I said before, Dealer documentation fees cover a dealer's administrative costs related to title, registration, and other paperwork involved with the car purchase. Your sales person even can't prepare paperwork related to the sale correctly. Why have we paid the highest fee for it? We got an offer before from Littleton Toyota with doc fee of $349, which is already above average doc fee. So we only request your doc fee should be the same as one of Littleton Toyota, which is $349. Our request of a refund of $146 ($495-$349) is reasonable. Please help us to fix this issue. Doc fee is not regulated by law in Massachusetts. Many customers like us don't know that. I filed a complaint with the State Attorney General. I wish in the future our State will regulate it so customers can be well protected. Thank you, Wendy

Charles, Please copy this link https://www.dealerrater.com/consumer/mytools/reviews/ I gave to you before and open a browser to view the content. It gives all fees related to car purchase in United States. I copy partially( I can't show you all since the review response window is too small) and show you a list of states around Massachusetts. State MaxiSales Tax Average DMV fee DocFeeLimits AverageDocFee New York 8.88 $74 $75 $75 Maine 5.50 $35 No limit $410 Connecticut 6.35 $87 No limit $415 New Hampshire 0.00 $60 No limit $315 Massachusetts 6.25 $80 No limit $340 Rhode Island 7.00 $32 No limit $220 According to edmunds.com average doc fee is $340 in Massachusetts. Everyone knows the meaning of AVERAGE, which is not what you thought as a sample. Your doc fee is 46% higher than average doc fee in Massachusetts. From http://www.realcartips.com/newcars/482-documentation-fees-by-state.shtml it also gives Average Dealer Documentation Fees and range of fee by State. It shows in Massachusetts average doc fee is $321 and Range of Fee is $195 to 495. Your doc fee is 54% higher than AVERAGE doc fee in Massachusetts and your doc fee is the highest. edmunds.com is a trusted web site, which provides useful information to help customers to find their car. As a customer I would rather believe these published information is correct. You said your doc fee is VERY competitive. Would you please provide me 10 Toyota dealers in Massachusetts whose doc fee is higher than $495? I will confirm with these dealers after you give me these dealer's information. Otherwise, Only saying your doc fee being competitive won't convince anyone. We just want to be treated fairly. we only request your doc fee should be the same as average doc fee in Massachusetts, which is $340. Our request of a refund of $155 ($495-$340) is reasonable. Please help us to fix this issue. Thanks, Wendy

I apologize you feel this way, but our service manager did remember your visit and informed me that he was not trying to “blame you” for the issue, rather he was trying to find out why this problem keeps happening. Please understand that we are responsible for making sure that the Toyota warranty does, in fact, cover any issues that are brought to our attention. Also we are not allowed to make the final decisions on warranty coverage so our managers are responsible to ensure all of the proper procedures are followed so we can get the approval. If his questions came across the wrong way, I apologize, there is no excuse for that. We have 100% control over how we communicate to our customers and I will make sure to address this with all of our staff. We did on one occasion order the incorrect part, and I apologize for that. If there is anything I can do to help in the future, please feel free to reach out to me directly and thank you for your patience in this matter. Charles B. Rocha, III General Manager 978-739-3718
