They are very unfriendly. the owner is a misreable old women who needs a class in customer service. They took 40 days to repair my car and then someone stole my daughters Ipod out of the car. In my entire life of 65 years and in buying cars for more than 40 years I have never had an encounter with a more unscrupulous dealership. My daughter is disabled due to intracranial hypertension. She has had multiple neurosurgical procedures for this problem and has a permanent intraventricular shunt in her brain to relieve the pressure. As a result she has memory problems, difficulty with concentration, and vision problems with reading. She informed the salesperson of this. Also as a result of these issues, she is easily intimidated. She went to Irwin of Freehold on 8/13/15 and purchased a Mazda CX5. The salesperson told her that the loan would be for 60 months at 0.0%. She and her wife signed the contract and went home with her new car. Her wife did not look at the contract since my daughter told her that it was fine. I was surprised at the interest rate because neither of them have a good credit rating, but was pleased that she was able to obtain it. When she got home she looked at the contract and saw that the interest rate was 14.3% for 72 months. She was too embarrassed to tell me or my wife about this until last week. This was a classic bait and switch that was formerly stereotypical of car dealers, which I thought never occurred anymore, but apparently is standard operating procedure at Irwin. The salesman intimidated my daughter and both the salesman and finance manager took advantage of a disabled person. Had I been aware of this I would have gone with her to the dealership and immediately returned the car, but now 2 months later that is not possible. Had I been aware of this at the time, I would have advised her not to buy the car from Irwin and would have accompanied her to another dealership to cosign her loan or buy it myself and have her make the payments to me. In my opinion this Mazda dealership should be avoided if not censured by Mazda. More
I came to Mazda looking to get out of my two year old jeep I needed something with better gas mileage Jon was really helpful test driving the cars with me and telling about all the features. He was not pushy and knowing I was not buying a car that day he still spent almost two hours with me. It's because of his great service that I came back two days later and bought A 2014 cx 5. I would recommend Jon to anyone looking for a Mazda everyone was very nice !! More

My Corolla was totaled the day before Fathers Day 2012. I was looking for a newer used Mazda 3, I drove a new Corolla and just felt like I needed a better car with more to it. I chose the Mazda 3. I went to two other Mazda dealers horrible pushy stalker sales and management personnel. As soon as I walked in Irwin I felt welcomed but not bombarded by sales. Jon Fields the salesman was amazing from beginning to end. He knows his cars and was very helpful and friendly. He was not at all pushy and made me feel like decision was just right and never gave false information once. Fred was the most personable down to earth sales manager I ever met and this comes from working in two car dealerships and knowing how they can be. Buying my Mazda 3 from Irwin would not have been possible without Jon, Fred, and whole Irwin team. Thank you Jon,Freddy, and Irwin team I feel like part of the dealership family now. More
My daughter and I had already visited a number of dealerships in search of her first car. Yet when we visited Irwin Mazda it was the first time we felt no pressure to buy anything. Jon Fields, the dealerships in search of her first car. Yet when we visited Irwin Mazda it was the first time we felt no pressure to buy anything. Jon Fields, the sales person we dealt with, was more interested in making sure that my daughter was happy with what she chose than just making a sale. Jon was extremely helpful in assisting us through this process. Even the Sales Manager Fred told us that this should be a fun experience for my daughter, not a stressful one. It took my daughter a week to decide which car to buy but she is so happy with her Mazda. I would highly recommend Irwin Mazda to anyone in search of a car. More
