Not friendly. Offered water and never came back with it. Salesman took a smoke break and checked his lottery numbers during negotiation. The experience was something that is even difficult to put into words. The salesman was not knowledgable and the Sales Manager was condescending and obnoxious. After test driving the CX 9 we sat to disc put into words. The salesman was not knowledgable and the Sales Manager was condescending and obnoxious. After test driving the CX 9 we sat to discuss options and the salesman had no idea what he was talking about. He left the desk and went back and forth to the sales manager, who was standing feet away, more than 3 times. We were looking to get the car in the black cherry color and the salesman wanted a guarantee right then and there that if he found it, we would buy it. Here is where it got interesting! The Sales Manager finally comes out of the shadows (as if he wasn't listening to the conversation the entire time) and laughingly announces that the CX 9 doesn't come in the color we were talking about for over a half hour! Are you kidding me! The manager than proceeded to do everything in his power to talk us out of getting that car. The real kicker here is that he then bent down, pinched my cheek and mockingly told me I would never get that car for the monthly price we were looking for. All I can say is lucky my husband did not see him do that because he was already so angry that the salesman did not know what he was talking about! We abruptly got up and started to walk out and he had the nerve to shake my hand and say "sorry it didn't work out.". REALLY???? We were flabbergasted and will NEVER go back there again. If you do go, stay away from Freddie the Sales Manager! More
