Since 1989 I have always had a five star experience with the James Wood dealerships in Denton and Decatur. This visit for maintenance on my Silverado was another good experience, that is until I paid my bal the James Wood dealerships in Denton and Decatur. Though I've never agreed with this practice, I can better understand it with smaller "mom & pop" businesses, but with a business as large as James Wood. Really! Does Mr. Wood need money this badly? I doubt it. I suspect he does it for the the same reason the airlines charge to check a bag; because they can. I am not happy. More

We bought our new 2023 Yukon XL Denali in April of 2023 and almost immediately started having issues with the center console not sliding correctly. After three separate trips from Fort Worth to Denton ove and almost immediately started having issues with the center console not sliding correctly. After three separate trips from Fort Worth to Denton over the past year, it is still not even close to being fixed. The last trip was supposed to be the final trip to get it fixed quickly on a Monday morning only to find out after 3 hours that the parts department had sent a part that had been on back order back to the manufacturer before the service department asked us to schedule our service. It is extremely aggravating to have the elbow rest slide back and forth when trying to rest your arm while driving or in the passenger seat. I spent over 100k for this Yukon and I feel like we are getting the treatment of a customer paying a tenth of that. Very disappointing. The service staff is friendly and professional but the execution is terrible. More
