Richard Masters, thank you for taking the time to share your concerns. We're sorry to hear that you left feeling frustrated, as that was never our intention. We would like to clarify a few important points regarding your visit. At no point did we refuse to honor your extended warranty. In fact, both you and your father were informed that there should be no issue with your extended warranty covering both the transmission concern and the rear wheel bearing repair. The repairs were not denied; they were approved to move forward through the warranty process. Unfortunately, like many dealerships, we are currently experiencing a significant backlog of major powertrain repairs. We were upfront in explaining that our estimated timeline for transmission repairs is approximately 3–4 weeks. Because your warranty can be honored at any authorized repair facility, we even suggested that you consider another dealership, such as a Ford dealer, if they could complete the repairs sooner. Our goal was to provide you with the quickest path to getting your vehicle repaired, not to avoid the work. Regarding transportation, we understand how inconvenient it is to be without a vehicle. We explained that we do not have loaner vehicles available at this time and suggested that another dealership may have a loaner program that could better meet your needs during the repair process. While we certainly understand the frustration that comes with unexpected vehicle repairs, our team made every effort to explain the warranty coverage, repair timeline, and available options. We regret that our conversations became unproductive despite our attempts to help. If there is any confusion regarding the drivetrain configuration of the vehicle, we would be happy to review that information with you as well. We value every customer and remain willing to assist with your warranty repairs or answer any additional questions you may have. We hope you'll give us the opportunity to work toward a positive resolution.

Based on our records, the repairs that were approved and authorized were completed. If additional issues remained or new concerns developed afterward, those may not have been present or related to the original repair. Our dealership does not clear diagnostic codes to conceal vehicle issues. Every vehicle undergoes an inspection prior to sale, and if a warning light or active fault is present at that time, it is addressed according to our inspection process. If a mechanical issue develops after delivery, we encourage customers to contact us immediately so we can evaluate the concern and determine what options may be available. Regarding the rock chip, we strive to be transparent about the condition of every pre-owned vehicle. Cosmetic imperfections that are disclosed prior to purchase are reflected in the vehicle's condition, and customers are able to inspect the vehicle before completing the transaction.
