The company took my car in for maintenance. To look at the ECS and change a head light.. the company took 2 weeks to install a new brake pedal on my car… and then gives it back.. doesn’t fox the problem a the ECS and change a head light.. the company took 2 weeks to install a new brake pedal on my car… and then gives it back.. doesn’t fox the problem at all just charged my dad.. oh and they didn’t fix the headlight… so the next day my father calls and we bring the car right back up to the dealership they hold my car for over a month and a half just to “do some touch ups with the wiring.. okay.. that’s fine Ill take that bc it odiously wants something wrong with the brake actuator but then they charge my dad 300 dollars for a batter bc they neglected to start their cars during the winter and let my battery die… I ended up getting my car back 2 months later so far no ECS light but guess what… they said they where only gonna fix what they could have possibly broke… so again after 3 months I of waiting I had to change my own “headlight’s” because if you know anything about cars if one light goes out the other one is normally right behind it… but just saying plz go to a trusted shop over this dealership plz they are garbage.. change my mind….. I've used Jim Butler and one other West County dealership since I moved to St. Louis five years ago. I will always choose Jim Butler. Unlike my other experience, Jim Butler's staff keeps you updated regula since I moved to St. Louis five years ago. I will always choose Jim Butler. Unlike my other experience, Jim Butler's staff keeps you updated regularly - whether texting or calling you as you're waiting in the waiting room; or calling you daily if your vehicle has to stay in the shop. And I sincerely appreciate the constant updates. The repair work is outstanding; staff is friendly and helpful. As long as I have a Chevy, Jim Butler will be my "go to" dealership. More
The work was excellent and they kept in touch while waiting for parts. It took longer than I hoped, but considering the current supply issues I don’t think they could have worked any faster. They repla waiting for parts. It took longer than I hoped, but considering the current supply issues I don’t think they could have worked any faster. They replaced the whole radiator when a small shop would have just slapped some duct tape on it. More
