Jennifer was great! No pressure and helped us find what we were looking for! Wish we could have gotten a better offer on our trade ins but we shouldn’t have a problem selling them ourselves. I actually bought my 2014 chevy impala LTZ from the Jim Butler fiat location on watson road. My experience was less than perfect. It was quite the opposite, I started my search online. Seen the car I liked Butler fiat location on watson road. My experience was less than perfect. It was quite the opposite, I started my search online. Seen the car I liked, went a few days later seen the car. Test drove the car, loved the car sat down with the salesman. Advised him I was already fully financed ready to close the deal. He tells me oh, no he car hasn’t been serviced yet through the shop, we just got that car in. He proceeded to say “that’s why I don’t like showing cars to customers if they haven’t been through the service department yet.” At this point I’m really not happy now because I’ve already been here a full day and now you tell me this. That was a Thursday, he tells me to write a check to hold the car, I did and they’ll remove it from the availability to sold. I agreed. He then proceeds to tell me the car will or should be ready by the follow Tuesday or Wednesday the next week. I waited and waited no car. I finally called and like “whats going on?” He tells me oh the weather with all the rain we’ve had they’re backed up in the shop. I say so when now. He says at least by that weekend I should be able to pick my car up. Nope, that didn’t happen. It was a full 3 weeks before I seen the car again. I finally picked it up. February 21st. The car smelled of cigarette smoke I asked repeatedly to clean the car, it wasn’t. As in give it a good detailing neither happened. In fact it wasn’t the new car experience smell of excitement I was expecting. In fact the finance guy told me to put an apple in there for a few days and it will get the smoke smell out. “It didn’t work”. It was mud on the running boards of the doors. It hadn’t been washed at all the inside or outside. The key fob was in pieces, they didn’t plan to give me a new one until I asked. Then my salesman said he’ll purchase me another one. “On him”, whatever that meant, “he did”. Not to mention about 3 days after I picked the car up I was back at the dealership because literally the entire bumper was coming off the car. I went in furious at this point I wanted to speak with no one but the sales manager Brian. He came out immediately apologized and said it would be taken care of immediately, it was but it had to go to the fenton location for such. So that left me at the dealership for hours again. Brian apologized again. Here we are almost a month at a month since I’ve had the car and it making some kind of sound. I call Brian(the sales manager) up again, he returned my call, I called back unable to speak with him left a message no reply. However my original salesman( Victor) calls me up ask what’s going o? I tell him he said he’d talk to Brian and promised to get back with me within an hour. I’m still waiting on that call, its been 1 week now. This after he thought I had had the car a month already. He mentioned you have extended warranty right! Yes I do but I hadn’t had the car 30 days. I have a feeling he wanted me to use that service instead of them having to pay the cost to fix whatever else was wrong with the car. Now I’m here. 30 days later having to use my extended warranty for repairs that should have been taking care of before I took possession of the car. If I can give any advice to Jim Butler and selling used cars. Do not list the car on the website until it has been fully inspected and serviced through the shop and completed. With no issues. This is a nightmare experience. I expected better from such a reputable company. Got the complete opposite. I wouldn’t refer anyone for a used car and if you choose to purchase a used car from there make sure its been serviced and cleared so you can take home the same day. More
I had a battery issue on a relatively new Impala (about 14,000 miles). While my appointment was for an oil change, etc. the battery was diagnosed as weak from the car sitting too long in COVID-19 quarantin 14,000 miles). When I received the invoice, I was pleasantly surprised that the battery was fully warranty covered rather than a pro-rata coverage. More

The staff is always super friendly. I have been to several dealerships and have not been treated as kindly as this one.
