We completely understand that pricing can be confusing at times. We are very careful to make sure to present all of the pricing information in an effort to give full transparency for the purchasing experience. When the salesmen goes back to the manager, it is usually to work out the details of the deal, including writing up the pricing for our customers, and to discuss negotiations. We only have two new car managers and over 15 new car salesmen. While we're very thankful for our high volume of customers, at times that does create a bottle neck in the process. This may have been the case in your situation, causing a longer than usual wait for that portion of your experience. We would be happy to discuss your experience in more detail. Thank you for your feedback, Glenn. I spoke with my service managers regarding this issue and they shed some light on why we covered what we did. We did take care of fixing the instrument cluster bezel that we worked on in October, however there were problems with the kick plates that were not of our doing. We did not touch that area during repairs whatsoever, as they are completely separate. We do sincerely care about our customers and appreciate your business, but as vehicles age there are parts of the vehicle that just deteriorate. This is likely true in this case, as your truck has lived a full life over the last 204,000 miles and 22 years. Especially if the vehicle in question is not being driven often. We hope that, with this is mind, we are able to earn your business in the future. Safe travels.

Unfortunately, when this issue happened, your vehicle was already out of the certified warranty and the extended warranty you chose to purchase does not cover trim/body work. We did attempt to cut costs as much as possible to help you and did get the costs 50% covered by GM. We are truly doing everything we can to help you in this situation.
