Instead of my calling, he spoke to Kim, service advisor, and she took care of obtaining my truck, fixing the recall and returning my truck...unbelievable service!! Thank you!! More

Found a Suburban that I liked (adding a third kid) online, made note of the internet price and the current 0% APR for 72mos deal. Emailed back and forth with Samantha and had a pretty good idea of what to expect. However, when I arrived at the dealership I was told I would be dealing with a difficult sales person. Scott had the car pulled around when I arrived - I elected not to take it for a test drive as I was familiar with how it would drive based on my Tahoe ownership. Told Scott that I wanted the dealer to pay off my current loan in full and that I would take the "new" Suburban (it was a demo) at the price listed online. Proceeded to be presented with overly complicated math to arrive at a price and eventually arrived at a price that was $1000 over the online price. I take credit for this, as I didn't keep a close enough eye on the price that was written down. My problems were these: #1 - they changed the price on me (although, as above, I admit that I bear some responsibility for not watching this closely enough) #2 - at one point, the salesman became very whiny over my proposed price. If they don't like my price, just say so - don't whine! I made it clear that I didn't NEED the car and was ready to go if they couldn't give it to me at the price I wanted #3 - I don't know what goes on when the salesman goes to their manager in the back, but this happened at least three times and took way too long. Overall I think I got a reasonable deal, but it was a much more painful experience this time around than the first time. Signing the finance papers was quick and smooth. More

Failed to satisfy 4 year old certified Silverado bought 1 year ago with extended warranty. Neither Jim Butler, Chevrolet or the extended warranty company would cover fa 4 year old certified Silverado bought 1 year ago with extended warranty. Neither Jim Butler, Chevrolet or the extended warranty company would cover failed seal of third brake light in roof and damage to headliner. Jim Butler said it was too long since I bought the vehicle for the certified warranty to cover the leak. I told them I had no idea when it started leaking and they didn’t either since it is in the back seat and I drive from the front seat. It could have been leaking from the beginning. Extended warranty company said it wasn’t covered. Paid extra for certified vehicle and extended warranty and neither of these helped me. They want $2000 plus pay for rental car while they take a day or two to replace the seal and headliner. That’s outrageous! It did nothing to cause this seal to fail. It is a 4 year old truck. It shouldn’t have failed! Very dissatisfied! More

Unethical at best Bought my truck at Jim Butler and have faithfully had it serviced there for 8 years and have been generally happy with my experiences. Brought it in for an oil change and new headlight a few days ago. When finished and I turned the key to leave numerous error messages on my dash pop up (service traction control, service stabilitrack) that weren’t there 45 minutes prior. Now they are asking for $100 to diagnose... I feel like I’m being played into costly repairs. This experience gives your dealership and mechanics a bad name. I was ready to purchase my next truck (and subsequent numerous years of service) from Jim Butler early next year but now might be giving George Weber a try... More
