I have purchased 5 vehicles from this dealership. I have always had good service from them and would highly recommend them to my friends. Jim Butler could improve by addressing you when entering the service garage with something like “someone will be with you in just a moment”, instead of having you stand awkwardly in silence next to your veh the service garage with something like “someone will be with you in just a moment”, instead of having you stand awkwardly in silence next to your vehicle for 5-10 minutes before saying a word to you. They could improve by scheduling your vehicle in on the day that a service technician can actually look at and service it. They could improve by having their service techs wipe down excess fluids when service complete so that it doesn’t drip all over your brand new concrete driveway. They could improve by having the service manager Dave B call you back after you leave him 3 voicemails asking him to return your phone call. Especially when there was already an issue and he promises that you will hear back from him (or anyone for that matter) with an update on your vehicle that day. They could improve by having someone, like a manager, do a quick “once over” of vehicles to be sure that when customer comes to pick up vehicle there aren’t any obvious problems like a rubber fender strip sticking out of the hood to fender gap not properly reinstalled, could make sure that when the problem with truck was trans fluid leak, customer doesn’t pick up truck with several fresh drops of trans fluid on the pavement where sitting parked waiting for pick up. Fluid all over underside front of truck where the original issue stemmed from. Service techs could also let a manager know when they break something like a splash shield by over- tightening with an impact. Lastly, it would be nice if the customer didn’t have to do the digging themselves to find out that the issue with the truck was an obvious recall despite how many of these recall repairs already performed. It’s always fun to get that call though, “hello Mr. **** that will cost you just a bit over $1,100 with tax thank you very much! Side note: after doing my research to find that this should be something covered by GM, I drove back to dealership to talk about my findings with my service advisor or manager. Both were out at the moment, and although very busy, Kim H stepped in and asked if she could help. Kim was excellent! She heard me out, and looked at the GM notice and even grabbed one of the diesel mechanics to have a quick look and they determined in pretty short order that it should and would in fact be covered. She deserves a raise and would be the only reason i might return. There’s no doubt in my mind that had I not done the research for myself they would have gladly just taken my money and sent me on my way. More
