Thank you for sharing your experience with us, Tim. We understand your frustration that we were unable to fix the problem that you experienced with your truck. We share in that frustration. We are here only to help our customers and fix their problems. Unfortunately, in order to be able to diagnose a problem and find out what is wrong, we have to see the problem in front of us and run diagnostics while the problem is occurring. This is why, even though we did try to get the problem to occur, we were unable to repair the issue. There can be a very wide array of causes for the screen problems, which we can only narrow down in person with the problem happening. We have been an advocate for you to GM in attempts to change their mind, but we were unable to sway them on this policy. They do cover paint repairs within the first couple months, but, after that, they do not. We hope your future visits with us are more pleasant. If the paint is bubblying up and flaking away its clearly a factory defect just like the ones i did have to have covered on two other parts of the body within weeks of getting the car should have had them repaint the entire car at that time but now i know not to trust Chevrolet any longer

Thank you for sharing your experience with us, Susan. We understand your frustration with the delay in repairs. When you scheduled the appointment, they should have let you know that your appointment was to meet with a Service Advisor, and not for immediate start of work on your vehicle. This was also reiterated in your confirmation emails. This is because there is a 24-36 business hour delay in getting work started that requires a Journeyman Technician (mechanic trained to perform repairs more than maintenance). We're glad we were able to get all the repairs completed in one day, once it was in and that you had a rental vehicle provided to you during that time. With regard to the body work, we do not have a body shop at the dealership. Doug said that he gave you the business card to Mertz Auto Body (the shop we would have taken it to if we would have been able to keep the vehicle an additional day). We recommend taking your vehicle to them to get an estimate, or you can bring it back to us and we will take it over to Mertz for you.
