Thank you for sharing your experience with us, Shawn. We understand your frustration that the Check Engine Light (CEL) was not resolved. The recall that you had done on your vehicle was to reset and update the computer system that turns on the CEL. Normally, this recall resolves the CEL being on and there are not additional problems. When scheduling the appointment, they should have informed you that the appointment being made was to meet with a service advisor. This is also reiterated in your reminder emails and when you met with the service advisor. Due to the high volume at the dealership, at times there is a wait for vehicles to be seen by our Journeymen. That being said, we are continually working to shorten this wait time for our customers and sincerely appreciate your business while we work to improve.

If you know who it was that you spoke with that didn't help you get updates, please let Theresa in our Customer Relations Department at theresa@jimbutlerchevrolet.com know so we can correct that individual. We do want to let you know that our normal wait time for oil change packages by themselves in 90 minutes, but the additional alignment you purchased does take up to an hour and a half. We understand that it is never fun to wait for vehicles, but we should have been able to get you an accurate estimated time for the services.
