My experience at Jim Coleman Toyota was excellent. The environment was friendly as well as our salesman, Matthew. My parents and I were car shopping for my mom. They had misinformed us about the price on the Camry we were looking at. Not only did we get misinformed but the kindness and friendliness wasn't there. The moment we arrived at Jim Coleman, Matthew was there asking us if we needed help in looking at any cars. Since we already had in mind what kind of car we wanted, Toyota Camry 2012 XLE, Matt was able to find it within 5-10 mins. My mom's eyes lit up and her smile was from ear to ear. My parents and I were very excited and pleased with Matt. Not only was Matt incredible but we also enjoyed the whole finance process with Biv. We were able to negotiate with him and he made everything clear. Matt was able to answer all of our questions and he made sure that we understood everything before signing papers. After the car was bought, Matt made sure we were comfortable with how the car worked before leaving the dealership. I will most defiantly go back when it is my time to get my car. I hope Matt will still be working there to get his help on the car I want like how he was there to find my moms car. More
I leased a 2012 Camry XLE. My experience with Mr. Lee has been exceptionally satisfactory. I began discussing the leasing vs purchasing issues with him in March. Between then and 22 June when I leased has been exceptionally satisfactory. I began discussing the leasing vs purchasing issues with him in March. Between then and 22 June when I leased the car I had numerous conversations with him, both personally and by email. Mr Lee was always available to answer my questions. I never felt pressure to acquire a car before I made a decision to do it. I would recommend him to anyone thinking of acquiring a car from Coleman Toyota. More
Peter Lee is not the typical sales guy. He makes the negotiation part of buying a car easy, buy showing the competitive quotes or advertisements you may take with you to his bosses and comes back with a negotiation part of buying a car easy, buy showing the competitive quotes or advertisements you may take with you to his bosses and comes back with a Yes answer in a few minutes. Jim Coleman usually has one of the best deals in town and their president's club is a great value for service points which can be redeemed for discounts on future purchases. Their weekend working hours are very convenient and the staff is always eager to make the customer happy. Even the shuttle to the Grosvernor station or nearby runs very smoothly. If you are buying a new or used car be sure to look up Peter Lee. You will be impressed. More
I am in the Navy and have moved to 10 different duty stations in the last 18 years. During that time, I have purchased and sold 8 different vehicles - mostly Hondas, but more on that later. Jim Colema stations in the last 18 years. During that time, I have purchased and sold 8 different vehicles - mostly Hondas, but more on that later. Jim Coleman Toyota made my 2012 Tacoma purchase the best new vehicle purchase I have made to date. From initial contact (car buying service through my bank - after I sent the inquiry, I received a phone call within 15 minutes and the same representative - Peter Lee - worked with me the entire process) through to driving the vehicle (which they had to obtain from another dealership 200 miles away) home, they worked to ensure my family and I were completely satisfied with the selection and purchase. During final price negotiation and working up the financial papers, there was a misunderstanding on the price of one of the dealer installed options I requested (the price I received over the phone was different than what was presented at the meeting by a not insignificant margin) - but we were able to come to a quick agreement and moved forward - this would not have been a deal breaker, but I am bringing this up to show the focus on customer service. Additionally, the finance department took the time to give me the best possible financing deal (I came in with financing from my bank, and they showed me that I could save a few thousand through the additional rebates and lower interest rate, all while getting the extended warranty - and no pressure during the entire process. I have been so impressed by the level of customer focus and the lack of any sales/financing pressure that our next vehicle will most likely be a Toyota despite our long history with Honda. Thank you for making this a wonderful experience that we will bring with us every time we drive the truck! More
service assistant followed up and made sure all work got done to the customer's satisfaction. I had once vowed, back in 2002, when I bought my first new car from them, that I would NEVER go back, and I didn't, for 10 years. My wife encouraged me to try, just once more, and out of deference to her new car from them, that I would NEVER go back, and I didn't, for 10 years. My wife encouraged me to try, just once more, and out of deference to her, I did. Our experience was the TOTAL opposite of the one we had the first time, thanks to their revamping of their Sales Department "Techniques," and in particular, one of their new, young Sales people, Matt Muradaz. He was FANTASTIC! Our experience with him, and the Dealership, was nothing but effortless and smooth. We actually closed 95% of Deal over the phone, and that included the basic price of vehicle, BEFORE we ever met Matt in person. Something that we've NEVER been able to do in the past. He was very open with us in our phone conversations, and the rest of the negotiations were executed at the Dealership. Matt kept EVERY promise that he made to us during the Phone Conversation, including the elimination of that very "Buyer-detested" session with "the Manager," which never happened. We went over the "plan" before we ever got there, and were pleasantly surprised that Matt kept his word on EVERYTHING that he promised us over the phone. He has since responded to all of our calls, and consistently makes EVERY attempt to respond to any of our questions. What he doesn't know outright, he investigates, and calls us back with the responses. Matt, single-handedly, has restored our confidence in Coleman's, and was the person who rekindled our connection with that Dealership. We went to two other Dealers before Coleman's, and were just as impressed with them, but Matt "sealed the deal." His personality, and integrity are what kept us from going somewhere else. Believe me when I say that, "We were READY to walk," but that wasn't necessary. He's a KEEPER, in our book at least. At this point, we would HIGHLY recommend Matt and Coleman's Toyota to anyone who is looking for a great deal at a great price, as long as the latter is within reason. Remember that, "Negotiations" require a reasonable "give and take," between parties. Dealerships, and their Salespeople are entitled to make a "living" as well. Remember to do your "Home Work" BEFORE you go to ANY Dealership. More

Emailed this dealership today regarding a used Camry, requesting their "best" out the door price.. I like to gauge how willing a dealership will be towards a deal if I do not need a test drive or convinc requesting their "best" out the door price.. I like to gauge how willing a dealership will be towards a deal if I do not need a test drive or convincing to purchase the vehicle.. cut the games and let me know what deal we can agree to already! However - the "internet sales rep - Peter Lee" gave me the usual asking price + all the fluffy taxes and fees.. which I am used to dealing with when it comes to emailing dealerships. So, I usually recon one more time to see if they would be serious and actually work with me over email since the dealership is located in MD and I am in NoVA, and as well all know commuting can be painful to just waste time sitting inside a dealership and playing the back and forth game for who knows how long. So, Peter Lee the sales rep decides to chime back stating that I have emailed in the past and nothing ever came of it, in essence coming across like I was wasting his time due to the fact I like to ask questions and get somewhere before physically showing up to a dealership nearly 40 miles away... He told me I would have to come in and take a look at the car I had a couple questions on... He does not get the business and need to stop communicating with potential internet customers! About 2 years ago I was dealing with a Jim Colman rep about a recently traded in car with no online pictures as the time that eventually after some pictures were sent was lowered, which of course made me uncomfortable (Corvettes are already low!), and decided to not pursue any further.. thus my email address was record in their database and I'm sure notes were placed in that I bailed on the actual helpful salesmen trying to sell me a car.. but in the end I wasn't wanting a modified height car... THIS ACTUALLY SAVED ME TIME FROM WASTING AWAY AT THE DEALERSHIP!!! GO figure! Jim Coleman Toyota - you once again disappoint me and will not earn my business yet again. I was ready buy... and still am.. but not at your crooked dealership! Thanks for nothing! Joe More
