Went back one time since, same experience, their service dept charges around 50% more than their parts dept, for the identical SKU. Hyundai's are supposed the be reasonable to maintain. When I called to discuss the issue, none of my calls were returned, I left 5 messages for my service agent (Joe) and one for the manager. The management team should be ashamed of themselves. More

Takes a month to get an appointment to get an oil change. If you enjoy long waits and rude service advisers, you will love Jim Ellis Hyundai. My service adviser (I'm not sure why he has this title as I assume that you have to offer advise in order to be called will love Jim Ellis Hyundai. My service adviser (I'm not sure why he has this title as I assume that you have to offer advise in order to be called an adviser) was W. Taylor. His attitude is just horrible. He is curt, impatient and rude. The truly sad part is that in this climate of labor shortages, people like Mr. Taylor will continue to have employment opportunities because they are able to fog a mirror. I spoke to the service manger, Quincy about Mr. Taylor's shortcomings, but nothing will happen. My car was at the service department for 12 days for a service that takes less than 10 minutes. The best part is that the service department never once returned my call in almost two weeks. Again, if you enjoy frustration, incompetence and rude behavior, please take your car to Jim Ellis. More
When I first purchased my cars at Jim Ellis Hyundai the service department was great. In the last several years, (before covid) I noticed the quality of service has gone down. Having to make an appointmen service department was great. In the last several years, (before covid) I noticed the quality of service has gone down. Having to make an appointment for service (just an oil change) at least a month in advance along with return visits for service that had to be corrected due to "faulty parts" or mechanic issue, has really made my experiences frustrating. Because of this, I won't be purchasing a vehicle at this location ever again. More
In June 2020 I purchased a 2020 Hyundai Palissade, ever since I had nothing but trouble with their customer service , or I should say THE LACK of it and I don't care attitude . About a month ago I've called this dealership and inquired about installing steps in my vehicle, , I was told it would cost $1500.00 ! I was previously given a WRITTEN note of $933.00 plus tax , I asked if they could honor that price , they said the best they could do would be $ 1.290. Needless to say I wasn't happy about it but told the manager I would go ahead and do it . I was informed someone from the service department would call me . It has been almost 2 weeks and still waiting for that phone call . I went ahead and contacted another dealership ( certainly NOT Jim Ellis ) . I am having my steps Installed for $936 .00 including tax . I also sent 2 emaisl to Mr Wesley Ellis , but no response from him either . Another note I would like to add , I took my SUV to have the interior cleaned . As I was driving home I noticed one item that was in the cup holder was missing ! I Immediately called the service department , but they say they couldn't find the item I've described . I was , and still very upset because this item had a huge sentimental value for me as it was something that belonged to my Dad who passed away . So dissatisfied with every aspect at this dealership ! . More
