At the time their sales staff assured us of the excellent experience we'll have through our ownership and the amenities and services available to their customers to make life easier including their "loaner car" program. The CX-5 we purchased overall has been flawless, we've only been in for routine maintenance barring a week long repair earlier in the year due to some creature issues. We hadn't had any issues with this dealer's service department till that visit. We brought our car in and were told it'd take a while to get it looked at cuz the shop was backed up; we weren't given a loaner or even an offer to provide a rental car (dealer footing the bill) like a lot of other brand dealers do. Our service advisor at the time (Doug) would never return calls or answer. It took trips to the dealer to get a status on my vehicle. Eventually after a conversation from their then temp service manager they magically had a loaner for us. After that trip, my wife took her car in for an oil change and tire rotation that took 3 hours which was a walk-in. I know the wait times can be subjective but I’ve never had to wait 3 hours at a dealer for that service and have owned 7 brands. Her service advisor was again Doug who was extremely rude to her. So I took it back in this weekend to have an oil change and tire rotation done only to be told by them that they were now an appointment only shop. It took pulling teeth to get them to see my perspective as a customer who purchased a vehicle from them with certain expectations that they clearly do not live up to. The dealership is 12 miles from our house (Closest dealer). They don’t provide loaners as they stated, their service even with an appointment takes “at least an hour and a half”. To top it all off; a synthetic oil change and tire rotation is $82 which is absurd for a non-premium brand. I play $120 for 3 oil changes and rotations on my Nissan which also takes more oil than the Mazda. This dealer provides a terrible customer service experience post purchase. The sales staff and service staff are not on the same page. Mazda has a great product and the wife and I were very excited to hear of a turbo charged CX-5 hitting the US market but these experiences with this dealer, the lack of other dealers within a reasonable distance from where we live or work has put us off from the brand as a whole. I’m honestly looking at alternate service options because even after calling Mazda corporate, their answer to me was “Dealers are privately owned, we can’t do anything about this”. More

Misled As a disclaimer, I had a great experience when I leased my vehicle. There are a lot of nice people who work there and they made the process of initially getting my vehicle pretty painless, which isn’t always true when it comes to cars. That being said, I was told twice when I leased my Mazda 6 that all I would have to do to get an Apple CarPlay upgrade was come in when it was available for the car. I was told both times that it would be free of charge. This sounded like a good deal to me. I leased my vehicle at the end of July and received an email in October that the update was available. I scheduled my service and came in for my update. I sat there for an hour and a half before being shown a price for parts and labor. It was almost 450 dollars for the CarPlay installation. I was told they hadn’t started the upgrade yet. I did appreciate the heads up before I was charged, but I was confused. I said that I was assured twice that this was a free upgrade. I was asked if I had leased the vehicle there, I said yes, and I was left again for a moment. I was finally told that since I had a Sport model, it was not a free upgrade. I felt misled. I was there for nearly two hours and it kind of felt like a waste of time. I decided not to pay over 400 dollars for an upgrade that I was thought was going to be free, so I left. Like I said, this Mazda dealership was great when I initially leased my vehicle, but I was a bit disappointed with this experience. More
Scheduled Service I had a 7 AM appointment. I was checked in and waiting in the lobby by 7:04 AM. The staff communicated with me every step of the way. There was eve I had a 7 AM appointment. There was even an employee in the waiting area who greeted me and offered coffee or any other assistance I may need. Outstanding experience overall! Great new facility! As I stated in my last review, after their construction was complete I would expect them to earn a 5 star rating. They did not disappoint! More
