Email correspondence four days before visit by site's "internet specialist" began by asking if we would be willing to put a down payment on a used vehicle we hadn't seen yet. Arriving from out of town, my wife and I were made to wait while missing keys were searched for (never found). The vehicle had not been detailed, despite the fact that their team had known for days that we were coming from out of town to look at it. The vehicle itself was in awful condition and should not be shown to customers as it is now. The minivan was listed at $20,200, and severely overpriced. The following list of items were minimized and avoided during a discussion with the manager and sales associate: the seats and carpet had punctures (larger than 1.5 inches in length) and untreated stains; the cabin's nylon "shell" was shifting away from the vehicle's structure as a result of obvious missing nylon push-in rivets; 3 large, undocumented dents; separated bumper and vinyl wheel well covers spoke of undocumented fender-bender damage; un-buffed and unpainted scratches were prolific from bumper to bumper - in short, 11 medium-to-serious problems were seen upon first look-over. In fact, the salesman even tried to convince us that we should pay extra to get the seats changed to leather which would solve all the terrible stains, tears, and cuts in the seats. We were very dissatisfied with our experience and with the salesman's unwillingness to let us go. He perpetually insisted on selling us other vehicles or tried to minimize the issues with the vehicle. Three days after our visit, the same "internet specialist" contacted us again about our visit. We replied with a similar email as what was given in this review. The response made it obvious that either our email was never read, or that the specialist only used canned responses. In short, we blocked their email address and needless to say, we will not be returning to Jim Norton Toyota and were extremely unimpressed with our experience. It should be noted that we visited two other Toyota dealerships earlier that day, both of which were extremely professional. Jim Norton Toyota should be audited by their corporate office. More

The sales manager and Thomas got us a killer deal on the new to us Tundra and gave us a reasonable amount on trade in. My wife enjoyed their professionalism so much she decided to get a 4runner the same day! More
Easy to work with I came into the dealership looking for a C-HR. I had set up an appointment with Thomas and he met me when I got out of my car. He was very knowledgeable and made the purchase easy. The color I wanted wasn't on the lot, so he arranged for a car to be delivered and it came in less than 12 hours. I purchased a used vehicle from them in December of 2017. Their sales team messed up my paperwork many times by submitting the wrong year to the bank and causing me to come in and resign 2 times due to differing interest rates between model years and also no submitting my final paperwork correctly to the bank. That's not a HUGE issue but it is very trying and honestly, made me feel like I was being manipulated. It turned out okay and my interest rate was fine but the back and forth calls and misinformation was very unprofessional. My biggest gripe here is that they talk up a service of "engines for life." The sales team says all you have to do is come get an oil change at the dealership every five thousand (5,000) miles. Every thirty thousand (30,000) they'll "like, seafoam the engine and keep it clean." I went in for my first oil change after driving 5,000 miles and was charged around 68 dollars. I thought to myself that that wasn't bad if it covers my engine for good, that's about what it would have cost me to do it myself. I go in today to have the EXACT same service done and it's $98.05. Nearly 100 dollars for a conventional oil change on a 3.2 litre V6 is outrageous. "Well sir, that's the engine protection for life." The cost isn't told to you while you're purchasing a vehicle. And I get it, a salesman probably doesn't have the ability to research the product they sell and tell a consumer everything they need to know. Oddly enough, the service department can give you an exact price pretty quickly. The cost also isn't relayed until AFTER they do the service. Shady practice. I will never use them for service again. And considering how poorly they handled my initial purchase and the paperwork I will never buy from a Jim Norton grouped dealership again either. Unprofessional and deceptive. Buy here with caution. I ended up with a used vehicle that came with a three-month 3000 mile warranty which is absolutely a bonus when purchasing a used car. And even after purchasing my car, Thomas has kept in contact with me throughout the past couple of months just making sure that I’m still happy with my purchase and that everything is good with the car. I feel that he went above and beyond so I will recommend Thomas to anybody I know looking for a vehicle because I know that they will be in great hands.. More
