Money over Customer Service I recently purchased a used vehicle (2016 Nissan Rogue) from local home town dealer Jimmy Britt. I came to the conclusion of using the dealership and I recently purchased a used vehicle (2016 Nissan Rogue) from local home town dealer Jimmy Britt. I came to the conclusion of using the dealership and sales group again after a pleasant experience from purchasing my 2018 Chevy truck. I ASSUMED that I would receive the same trust worthy and professional service from my previous experience. The acronym that people use for ASSUME, definitely applies to this encounter. I was informed that the purchase of this vehicle was a great deal that I should not miss out on. I was informed at signing that it was a recent trade-in that day. The vehicle had not been serviced or evaluated for the resale to current or potential consumers. I was promised that I would be contacted concerning the servicing of the recently purchased vehicle. Text, email, and messages were not returned. Three days after the purchase the driver-side window became stuck in a downward position. This is definitely not a favored experience in a rain storm. Immediate service required to solve the problem and the inability to receive service from the Jimmy Britt staff resulted in my visit to the trusted Nissan Service department. Upon evaluation of vehicle other issues and concerns were brought to my attention. Once able to contact Nathan and sales staff to address the concerns I received responses that I would consider very uncharacteristic of an organization that prides itself on customer service. "Due to the inability to reproduce the incident or service issues documented by the Nissan Service Department staff, they would not fix the issues presented". "One man's trash is not another man's treasure, but indeed another man's issue, and money pit."$1,000 down payment, $120.00 service fee to Nissan and $868.00 in future repairs to the vehicle. My latest conversation with Nathan reflected his lack of focus on customer service and his true focus on unit sales, additional insurance and warranty sales. "You should have purchased the extended warranty ($2,700), if you wanted to avoid this situation." Service with a Smile. WOW!!!! Used Car Buyer Beware!!! More
