Lack of Customer Service and Technician Issue Contacted Angie prior to scheduling appointment for estimate on cost to fix my Sync system. She stated I had a warranty for the Sync and there “was no Contacted Angie prior to scheduling appointment for estimate on cost to fix my Sync system. She stated I had a warranty for the Sync and there “was not a time limit” on my warranty. I asked her to double check bc I had called prior to making this appointment and was told the warranty had expired on my vehicle for Sync services. She said yes, warranty is still good without time limit. I scheduled Appt the following Wednesday to bring my vehicle into be worked on. Dropped vehicle prior to 8a which I have to drop off three kids in the morning and it is no easy task getting my vehicle there. Around 12p I still hadn’t heard anything. I called and left message for her to call me back. She calls back and says Sync needs an update and it will cost $256 for the update. I explain to her to she told me the warranty was still available for use and explained the exactly how the conversation went. Then after some discussion she said that she would take care of the cost of the upgrade. She calls back approximately an hour later and tells me technicians were unable to get my Sync to update due to connectivity issues with their system. She stated on the phone my vehicle was communicating fine with the system but for some reason it would not update. She then says you can call next week to schedule another appointment to try again.... No offer to reschedule they appointment or anything. Then whenever I get my vehicle back the piece that is under the console that holds the USB ports and everything together is on top of my dash and the component with the USB outlets is exposed. So my vehicle wasn’t even put back together the way it was when I dropped it off... More
